Now comes the day of the baby's birth. Young Olivia endured excruciating pain shooting through her abdomen in the early hours of the morning on the day of April 23rd, these being called contractions, the baby is on his way.
Olivia was ushered out the door of the bedroom her and Owen share along with an overnight bag and the things for the first night with the baby. Owen, in a scrambling panic, helps her down the stairs and out the door right into the back seat of the car. Climbed himself into the driver seat and sped away to the nearest hospital.
The nurses rushed to get Them into a room and so they waited for a nurse to check how close they are to delivering the baby.
Five painful hours later, she was dilated enough to start to push. After about 45 minutes Ollie James Parker was born. Ollie James Parker was born at 5 pounds and 4 ounces and was 19 inches long.
Owen at the first sight began to cry. It took him a minute to clear his eyes to cut the umbilical cord. Once the cord had been cut and they brought the baby back from being cleaned and weighed, the young coupled held their baby Ollie and each other, with tears pooling on the hospital bed sheets.
Though they had suffered sleepless nights and wailing cries of hunger, tiredness, and discontentment, the couple couldn't get enough of the baby boy
