I looked around and was confused at what I was staring at. What is this? I said to myself. I was staring at a necklace on the ground, in the forest, miles away from civilization. I had gone on a camping trip with my best friend, Saki. First, I should introduce myself. I'm Zueki. I'm 15 years old and live in Paris, France.

My best friend and I have always done fun activities together, like going to conventions, go on bike rides, and campouts. I was discovering one of the caves near the edge of the forest we were camping in when I spotted the necklace. It was just laying there.

It was a pretty purple color and I thought it looked cute. So, I picked it up, wiped away the dirt, and put it on. Suddenly, a bright light flashed from the bracelet, and out came this thing! "Ahh! It's an alien!" I screamed. "I thought someone would NEVER find me! Thank you!" The weird alien had said. "What the hell are you?!" I said, grabbing a rock to defend myself. "I'm Violet, your Kwamii!" "My WHAT?!" I was so shocked!

I had heard about Kwamiis from my friends Alya and Marinette. They didn't know much about them, just that they were little flying creatures that transformed people into superheroes. "I'm your Kwamii! My name is Violet and I'm the guardian of the raven Miraculous!" The raven? I never knew there was a raven Miraculous. I only knew of the ladybug, cat, butterfly, and peacock. "Er, Violet, right? What do you mean you're the guardian of the raven Miraculous? I've never heard of it before!" I said.

"That's because when the guardian escaped captivity, some of the Miraculous was hidden by him! I was one of them!" Violet responded. "Zueki! You in there?" Saki was calling me. Without thinking I grabbed Violet and shoved her in my jacket pocket. "Yea, what do you need?" I asked Saki. "I think we should probably head back to the campsite. It's getting dark out." She said.

I looked at the entrance of the cave. Then, I thought, What if there are more Miraculous hidden in this cave? I knew I had to find them if there were.

And I knew I couldn't hide this secret from my best friend. Surely she was allowed to know, right? "Hey Saki, I found something here, and I need your help to see if there is any more stuff in here that's similar to it," I said. "Okay, what are we looking for?" she asked. "Well, we're looking for um...jewelry!" I said. "Um...okay?" Saki suspected something, but she still helped me search for the Miraculous.

There wasn't any left in there. What if Ladybug came and grabbed all of the other ones, but left this one here on accident? I thought. As Saki and I were walking back to our campsite, ready to fix dinner, I asked her if she had found anything else, like a pair of earrings or a bracelet. "What's the deal Zueki? I didn't find any jewelry! Why do you need to know?!" She said furiously. "Just forget it," I said. "Hmph! You have the job of making dinner tonight! I'm going for a walk!" Saki said as she stormed away annoyed. Once she was gone, Violet squirmed out of my pocket.

"What were you thinking?! Don't tell her about the Miraculous being here!" "I didn't. I asked if she found any jewelry." I said to Violet. "Same difference! If she knew you found one, we could be in lots of trouble!" Violet screamed. "Well, we'll be in trouble if she hears you screaming," I said as I cut up some carrots. "Typical. All you humans think about is food!"

"Listen! Tomorrow, my friend and I go home. I'll transform, get Ladybug, then give you to her! Is that okay with you!?" I fumed. "No! Even she can't know your true identity! This is just between us, okay?" "Fine, but just make sure you're always with me, or I'll think you're captured!" I said kind of annoyed.

Honestly, I'd had enough of this drama! I started thinking that this was all just a dream and that I was really snuggled up in my sleeping bag, awaiting the morning.

I was wrong because sure enough, after I woke up the next morning, Violet appeared out of my backpack and gave me a hug with her two little wings. Today was the day she would come back to the city with me. I started imagining all of the cool adventures I would have with Ladybug, Chat Noir, Rena Rouge, and every other hero! Violet told me that I should only use my powers when Ladybug really needs my help. Well, that sucks. I thought.

Eventually, we reached the city, then my house. Once I unpacked, I went upstairs with Saki. "Girl, I found something on my walk last night! It's SO cool!" She said. "What did you find? Tell me! Tell me!" I said. "Okay, but you have to promise not to show Shark and Yuma, or Crow and Kailn, okay?"

"Okay! Tell me!" The suspense was killing me! I couldn't wait to see what she had found! "I found an um...rock shaped like a...tree!" She blurted out. "Um...okay," I said.

She was clearly hiding something. I didn't worry about that too much. I grabbed my phone and immediately called Marinette to tell her how my trip was. She said she wanted to know every single detail once I got back. Just before dinner, Violet and I were getting to know each other better, when my crush, Luka, had called me! I was so close to hyperventilating!

Luka had never called me, I was the one always calling him! He probably thinks I'm some kind of stalker. I thought. I quickly picked up the phone. "Um...hello?" I said nervously. "Hey, Zueki! Marinette just said that you'd gotten back from your camping trip. I'd love to hear about it!" Oh. My. GOD. Luka had called me to ask about my trip! I was SO happy! I tried talking to him as calmly as possible to hide my nervousness and excitement. I didn't want the conversation to end, but my dad called me down for dinner. "I have to go but, see you at school tomorrow?" "Yea! Bye!" Luka said as he hung up. "Violet! I can't wait until tomorrow!" But what I didn't know was that tomorrow, was NOT going to be a very good day.
