"I'm so sorry" I stuttered looking up to see the guy I bumped into. My heart jumped into my throat when I saw the shimmer off his bald head. Sure enough he noticed my look of horror and shock and quickly picked up his long, golden brown wig and reattached it to his head.
"S..sorry" I stuttered and ran off into my class leaving him standing there, horrified that someone saw knew his secret - he had no hair.
Breathing heavily I sat down in my space and laid my photo books down, ensuring jimin and jungkookie were secure.

Everything my teacher was saying just went over my head. All I could think about was that bald guy. How did he have no hair? I'd never seen anyone bald before - our government say the pain of a hair cut is too much for any one to live through and that's why no one has them. If you see someone bald they say you are to report it immediately as its a sign of someone who is a severe threat to society because if they can put up with the pain of a hair cut, what else are they capable of. All these thoughts were swirling through my mind: How is he bald? Why is he bald? Who is he? I have to report it? What will happen if I do? Will he - my thoughts were cut short by the clanging of the school bell. Hurriedly I packed my stuff and was the first one to head out the door.

I got home a lot quicker than I usually would because I was walking so fast. Sighing I take out my key and unlock my door. As usual, my parents weren't at home as they were working- they worked all the time these days, ever since there was an attack on the dome, main government building of my city, by an unknown terrorist group. There are rumours that the group was an underground rebel group who attacked because they believed our government, are hiding things from us. Important, life changing things.

I walked up my stairs to my room and threw my bag on my bed, my head feeling too heavy for my neck. I let down my hair and let it swoop past my shoulders and brush the floor. With a sigh, I sat down at my desk and attempted to start my essay (which was due in tomorrow morning) titled, "how far do you agree that the crisis of the missing kpop boys in 2020 caused a transformation in society?". All kpop boys went missing on the 4th of June 2020, the kpop girls went missing a week after. It happened suddenly overnight and all news reports on the following morning were filled with images of empty entertainment buildings and sobbing fans clutching their light sticks. No one has ever seen a kpop boy since. There are many rumours as to what happened ranging from a mass kidnapping to the theory that they were all kidnapped by aliens that escaped from area 51, but no one knows for sure what happened and personally, I doubt they ever will.

In 1 hour, I managed to write 3 sentences. I just couldn't focus, my mind was swamped with thoughts about that bald guy. How has he gotten away with it for so long (I came to the conclusion he must be around my age) and more importantly, how is he bald? Hair cuts cause so much pain that no one has them. When my friend was 10, she accidentally trapped some of her hair in a door and it was so painful she blacked out. Either this guy has an inhumane pain tolerance or he is not human. Whichever he was, I was determined to find out.
