Godzilla: king of the monsters

Chapter 13

The battle for supremacy continued, the sky crackled with lighting and rain fell upon the now burning city. Mothra and rodan still spoke upon one another while godzilla and ghidorah fought against each other. Madison had been running through the streets as her mother and father desperately looked around the broken and battered streets. "Madison!" Jill cried out,looking for her daughter. "Madison!" Jack shouted as well,soldiers escorting hurt civilians back to some osprey that were waiting to leave. "Maddie where are you?!" Jill cried out, hoping she hadn't lost her only precious child like she did her son. As if all hope was lost, Madison seen her parents and bolted for them, hugging the two tightly "Mom! Dad!" She cried. Her parents hugged back just as tightly. "Oh my baby!" Jill cried happily, only to be caught off gaurd by ghidorah's roar. Everyone looked up as godzilla had been pinned down by ghidorah, watching as he was being strangled by the middle head. Rodan had taken off away from mothra, making her go off on her own to try and save godzilla as she took off towards ghidorah. She flew at him,arms out with a strike ready. Ghidorah"s right head had hissed,charging up a gravity beam. She was ready for the blast, but with out warning, rodan had come back from the clouds with a dive bomb to the right head. It hissed,fangs showing as rodan roared right back. All three heads had looked over,only to be shot with a magma beam, rodan's secret weapon. The right head had been caught in this burning blast,letting out a shriek of pure pain. Mothra had blind sided the left head as she pulled out a new move, a net of webbing to shut it's mouth. She did the same for the other two heads,webbing them together as rodan had grabbed the webbing with his talons. With one good flap of his wings,he slammed both the right and middle head into a building as it crumbled a bit. Mothra had flown to godzilla,landing down gently on his side. He let out a groan of pain, his body battered and bruised by bite marks and gravity beam shots. He looked into her large,blue, gentle eyes as she chirped a bit at him, knowing that the time had come. Rodan landed down next to the king and queen,watching as ghidorah broke free of the webbing, hissing and roaring in anger, his tail's rattling. Rodan let out a roar,his wings flared out, godzilla roared back in pain but he was still ready for the final fight to end this. Mothra roared,her wings changing colors to intimidate ghidorah, not having an effect upon the three headed creature. She chirped once more to godzilla, soon flying off at ghidorah as rodan got ready for flight. Godzilla groaned at her, watching ghidorah's necks light up golden. She got close enough to where he was about to fire at godzilla...but she wasn't going to let that happen. Once ghidorah shot his gravity beams, she flew up and into the blast, disintegrating like dust as she let out a cry, the last cry she would make. Mothra, Queen of the monsters, now dead by ghidorah. King ghidorah let out a roar,almost laughing as he killed off the pesky moth that webbed him up. Rodan had roared,flying at the false king while shooting more magma at him. The dust from mothra's body had landed on godzilla, making him groan a bit while resting on the ground. The cracks between his scales turning from blue to a reddish color. "Guys! Godzilla is reaching a sudden spike in radiation. We got 5 minutes before he explodes like an atom bomb!" Sam shouted from a radio. Everyone bolted for the ospreys, running as fast as they could, time running out before godzilla hit critical mass and blew up like a bomb.  Jill however had a different plan, knowing she created this mess she had to fix it one way or the other. "Jill, come on we don't have much time!" Jack shouted. "Jackson...you take damn good care of maddie for me...for us, maddie...i love you,and i always will" she said,tears falling. "Mom? What are you doing?" Madison asked,watching her mother set up a missile truck. "This is for andrew" she said,firing a couple rockets at Ghidorah. The titan felt the missile's connect,only to piss in off as rodan flew around him. He hissed,charging towards the truck. "Maddie we need to go,Now!" Jack said,pulling her back. Madison screamed as she watched her mother drive off in the truck, keeping ghidorah distracted long enough for godzilla to get his footing and the ospreys to escape. The titan chased the truck down,jaws snapping with angry hissing. She fired more rockets at ghidorah as he fired back with his gravity beams. She dodged a couple while a building toppled over, but getting struck with a united gravity beam attack. The truck flipped as she bounced out of it,her body now broken but still alive. "Mom!!!!" Madison cried from the view of the osprey,watching as ghidorah landed down. Jill looked up,seeing all three heads looking at her, fangs being shown at the heads snarled in anger. "Long....live....the king" jill said,hearing that growl no one could forget. The middle head looked around,puzzled on where it was coming from. A large crane upon a building changed from its usual grey to a bright orange, within a flash, the object melted, A couple buildings suddenly doing the same. A large reddish orange hand had touched the corner of a building, the sound of metal groaning from being melted like pure butter. A foot planted upon some stray cars, a hissing sound with steam coming from the melting vehicles. Everything around was turning into a sort of molten lava, how could this be? Nothing was hot enough to do that. To everyone's surprise, this burning force was none other than Godzilla, roaring at ghidorah. His body was now colored reddish orange, the cracks in his scales were light yellow with his eyes pure fiery orange. Ghidorah quickly turned around,roaring at godzilla while his tails rattled, he was ready to continue fighting godzilla for the crown. Godzilla had charged up his atomic breath, his dorsal crackled with purple electricity...but it wasn't the atomic breath. A pulse of pure heat was emitted by godzilla, mothra's cry being heard as ghidorah blocked his attack. This new attack however, damaged ghidorah as his wings began to burn like paper and chip away, nothing but the long bat like fingers. Ghidorah had started backing away,roaring in terror as he tried to fight back with more gravity beams. His attack seemed to be doing nothing, the burning wall of godzilla's scales were withstanding the effects of the gravity beams. He charged up another pulse, ghidorah desperately trying to get away or somehow damage godzilla. Another pulse was emitted, both the left and right head being disintegrated in the process, their flesh just oozing off while their bones turned to dust. The middle head had been burnt up,loosing some skin in the process as it roared at godzilla. He returned a roar back,soon planting a foot on ghidorah's chest, plunging it deep into his body as sparks flew and a ball of energy was created. Ghidorah let out one last roar before everything turned white,everyone covering their eyes from how bright it was. Moments after the bright white died down, the sun was setting upon the now destroyed boston with dust settling upon it. Rubble lay upon the streets with buildings cooled down from the burns of the atomic pulse godzilla used. A rumble was heard, soon the head of ghidorah emerging from the pile of broken glass and building. "Are you kidding me?!"sam asked,shocked on how the head survived. "Look!" Chen pointed, seeing godzilla rise up from the rubble, the middle head now in his strong jaws. The head hissed and snapped its jaws, making godzilla charge up his atomic breath. The middle head glowed a bright blue,dust coming of it as godzilla charged up more atomic energy. He looked to the sky, firing an atomic blast as the head was now nothing but dust. Ghidorah,the one who was many, the song of three storms, the living extinction was no more after being taken down by Godzilla. "Jesus....good thing he's on our side" barnes said,looking as godzilla shook off. "For now" chen replied,knowing that things could change in the near future. Maddison noticed something moving in the dust around godzilla "look..." She said. Godzilla turned around, loud foot steps coming from behind. He watched as two large mammoth like creatures walk up. Titanus mammothus and titanus behemoth let out a low rumbling sound,walking closer to him. A large squid,spider, crab like creature walked up beside titanus kumonga. Titanus scylla had walked up as Godzilla watched from where ghidorah's ashes remained. Titanus Methuselh followed behind,the mountain like titan had growled a bit, walking up. Another muto joined the titans,letting out a roar as she approached godzilla. Titanus anguirus and Rodan had joined the other titans, roaring at him. Godzilla just stood there,growling at all the titans around him...waiting to fight if he needed to. Rodan however didn't start a fight..he simply bowed his head to Godzilla. The alpha looked around at the other titans,watching them bow before him. The ospreys had flown over the sea, watching the titans bow before the rightful king. Godzilla stood there a few seconds,soon letting out a powerful roar that shook the ground. Godzilla had saved the world and reclaimed his crown as the one and true king of the monsters.
