Warm arms wrapped around his mid-section, drawing him in closer against a naked breast. Regis gazed down at his human lover who was intently staring up at him from her position next to him in bed. "Good morning, my love." Regis said before leaning in to place a soft kiss on the womans forehead.
"What were you thinking about Regis?" She questioned, moving her head closer to nuzzle her nose into the crook of his pale neck. "You didn't notice me watching you for a good minute. Your mind was somewhere else. Mind telling me what your thoughts were?"
"Hmm..." Regis softly hummed. "I was just recollecting the night we met. I saved you from dying a painful death from an Archespores poison."
"And I'm thankful you did, Regis." The woman retreated from his neck and kissed his lips. The vampire pressed harder, lingering his mouth against hers as he inhaled her delightful scent in through his sensitive nostrils.
"And so am I [Y/N]. So am I."
