I want to leave. I want to leave so bad. But what's going to happen if I do? Hybrid services could find me. I could be escorted to heaven. Or I stay and be treated like a rag. Used, torn, and lifeless.
So...
I took my chances, I dashed out the door and down the hall towards the closest exit I could find. Doctor's, nurses, assistants doing everything they can to prevent my chance at freedom.
My skin was like oil. I moved perfectly between each person stunning them at how agile I could be. I could see the fire exit sign and I headed straight for it. But this time it was a bit harder. Hands yanked pieces of my clothing away as I barged through the door to be merged by another shrill of the alarm.
The guards were preoccupied with shutting off the gates that they didn't notice me slip through until it was too late.
Later (Doctor Todd's POV)
I loved that Zebra. She was everything. I finally had a break and it slipped through my hands like sand. My wooden desk was a deformed sculpture straying with splinters and spikes almost everywhere.She. Is. Coming. Back.
Normal POV
I flew through the trees like lightning. Rain drizzled onto me making me weak and cold. My vision darkened once I reached a clearing resulting in me collapsing in the long wavy grass.I was unconscious but I could still hear and smell everything. My breathing calmed and I finally regained enough strength to open my eyes.
At first all I could see was black but as my vision got used to the darkness I could see the basics. I was still cold and I shivered with the soft pitter-patter of the rain. My ears twitched to the side as an unknown scent came into contact with my nose. I smelt wet fur and expensive cologne.
Before long I could hear shuffling and the steady heartbeat of the animal. I made myself smaller, I was unaware of what was to come. But I was thankful thelat at least something found me.
I heard a low growl before I was pounced on by a figure. And I heard it speak "Namjoon, get the truck" it spoke before a cloth was pressed firmly onto my mouth.
Third Person POV
Yoongi didn't know what to think. A beautiful zebra hybrid this far in the forest had him worried. But he knew she was unusual. She smelt of chemicals and espresso and had the most beautiful face. What are you doing out here, little one?----------
