"We're only going ice skating for crying out fucking loud! Choose something simple!" My best friend, Casey, yelled. My cousin, James, was having a birthday party at an indoor ice rink, he was extremely popular so tons of people were trying to get in. Which is why I couldn't look like a total fucktard. I shot her a glare and then went back to my closet. I heard Casey groaned and I turned my head a little, seeing her now lay down on my bed, her legs hanging off the edge. I laughed and turned back to searching through my clothes.

It was easy for Casey, she was already dressed. On her bottom half she wore dark blue denim jeans with a brown belt and some knee high brown boots to match the belt and on her top half, she wore a floral vest top, patterned with flowers and a black cardigan. She had already known what she was going to wear and she didn't care because her boyfriend, Josh, would think she looked beautiful no matter what. But I, on the other hand, was forever alone and didn't have the same situation as her.

Casey sighed, standing up from the bed. Clearly she had had enough and walked over to me, shoving me out of the way and went through my closet herself as I sat on my bed. A couple of seconds later, she had tossed over a complete outfit to me. "Go get changed. I'm waiting in the car." She told me before walking out the room and shutting the door. I looked at what Casey had given me, a thin, white tank top, a purple cardigan and some light blue denim jeans. To be honest, it wasn't that bad, it actually looked cute, it looked even better once I had it on. I slipped on some boots and then grabbed my phone from my bed, slipped it into my butt pocket and walked out of my room. I passed my sisters room and my face twisted in disgust at the smell. I poked my head through the door and gagged. "Jeez, your shit stinks!" I stated, holding my nose, she simply rolled her eyes. "Get out then." She told me, I scowled at her. "Fine but keep your door closed before you stink out the entire house." I told her and with that I walked out and closed the door. "I'm out!" I called to my Dad, running outside and shutting the door before he could say anything. I got into Casey's car and shut the door, turning to her and grinning. "Let's go party!"

Casey linked arms with me as we both approached the indoor ice skating rink, I waved to some of my friends and some other random people who had thought I had been waving at them waved back, I laughed. I saw James stood over by his presents, chatting to some of his mate. The ice rink was full and the music was so loud my ears were throbbing. The only adults here were James' parents but they seemed to be keeping themselves to themselves. Casey must have caught sigh of Josh because she tore her arm away from my grasp and ran off.

I rolled my eyes and walked over to James to wish him a happy birthday. He turned, catching sight of me and grinned, waving me over as he wanted me to meet someone. I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Happy Birthday James!" I shouted into his ear over the music, he laughed into my ear and grinned as we pulled away. "Thanks, Kay!" He said, calling me by my nickname. He wrapped an arm around my shoulders. "Kayla, you already know Chaz and Ryan." James said, I grinned and nodded, they were two of my best friends. Chaz and Ryan both tackled me with a hug at that moment, which I gladly returned, we then pulled away. As we did, I caught sight of someone I had never seen before, I frowned a bit. "Who are you?" I asked, Chaz and Ryan burst out into hysterical laughter as the boys face heated up a bit. James chuckled. "Kayla, this is Justin. Justin Bieber?" He asked, as if his last name would spark something, but it didn't.

I shook my head, still not knowing who the hell he was. The song in the background change. You know you love me, I know you care. I squealed and grabbed James' hand, I had always loved this song, even though I had no idea who it was by. "James, come on! I love this song!" I exclaimed.

All the guys now went into hysterical laughter and I rolled my eyes, knowing it must be some sort of inside joke. I still wanted to dance, I glanced at Justin. "Do you wanna dance with me then?" I asked, he nodded. I grinned and grabbed his hand, walking onto the dance floor. Justin grinned. "Your name is Kayla, right?" He asked, yelling. I smiled and nodded while dancing. "I LOVE THIS SONG!" I shouted. Lucacris' part came on and I rapped/sang along with him, Justin smiled. "Do you know who sings this?" Justin asked, I shook my head. A small smirk formed on his lips. "I do.." He told me, my eyes widened, my mouth hanging open a bit. I quickly shut it and glared at him. "Liar." I said, Justin shook his head. "No, really." He told me, I shook my head, still not believing him. The song ended and I stood in front of Justin with my arms crossed.

"Alright, alright. That was Justin Bieber, Baby!" The DJ shouted into the microphone, my head snapped towards Justin and he laughed, holding out his hand. "Come on, I wanna skate." He said, I nodded a little and followed him to get our skates. Justin looked like a pro as he moved from the padded floor onto the smooth ice but I was holding onto the sides, frowning down at the slippery ice. Suddenly, I almost slipped onto my butt but a hand reached out to steady me. I looked up at Justin, who was smiling down at me. I gasped, his smile making my heart skip a beat. It was breath taking. I straightened myself out, still wobbling. "Thanks.." I said, he nodded. I opened my mouth to say something else when my feet knocked from under me, I tried to steady myself by grabbing Justin but it failed and we both ended up on the floor lying next to each other, groaning. I turned my head towards him and he looked at me. "Sorry.." I muttered, he laughed. "It's alright." I cracked up laughing at what had happened, as did Justin and we just stayed like that. Just lying on the ice, laughing together. Only the next morning we woke up with a bad cold and we spoke to each other non stop until we got better.
