•CHAPTER FIVE•
Peter sat across from his childhood friend, Andrew, eating lunch and seeking advice about Georgia.
"Man, she sound like a handful. You sure have yourself a challenge," Andrew barked in laughter enjoying his friend's dilemma. Peter shot his friend a glare and chugged down his drink. "Woah, man. Slow it down with the drink you don't want to meet her intoxicated. By the way, happy birthday man," he watched the birthday boy glare at him again. He laughed out once more.
"Don't you mention this day," Peter warned. Suddenly losing patience. All he wanted to do was find a way to make her pay for doing such horrible things to him last night. Peter felt his phone vibrate bringing him out of his reverie. Not bothering to see the caller he answered, "hello?"
"What's your favorite sport?" The caller asked. He looked at his phone to see Georgia's face. He snapped a picture of her when she wasn't looking and she took his breath away.
"Uh...hockey, but you already knew that from all your stalking on my Facebook page," he smirked when he heard her mumble angrily to herself. He glances at Andrew whom looked at him with curiosity. "Okay, smart ass," she retorted sarcastically. "Don't forget about dinner tonight. Don't be late or I will kill you," she threatened. He simply chuckled and said their goodbyes.
Peter shook his head slowly with a smile on his face. He caught Andrew watching him with an intense look. "You're hooked on this girl, aren't you?" he asked. Peter shook his head and laughed. "I'm not hooked man. She's interesting yes, but it'll wear off soon enough," Andrew shook his head not believing the whole facade his best friend is putting up. He knew Peter too long to fall for his shenanigans.
"No, I think you've met your match on this one," Andrew teased, enjoying his friend's dilemma. Peter rolled his eyes at his ridiculous comment.
Yes, Georgia is gorgeous and feisty. Something he quickly learned that he liked in a woman. She sure piqued his interest. However, how long will this last? Well, since they're to be married, it'll have to last. Long enough to get his family off his back and her father to pay off his debt.
Anger surged through his body. How could a father let himself get into debt knowing he has a family. Yet alone not telling his only daughter. Sighing, he also remembered the reason why he did what he did. Andrew and Peter said their goodbyes after finishing with lunch. Then Peter headed back to work only to sit and couldn't stop thinking about Georgia.
"Ugh, can't get the damn woman out of my mind," he groaned rubbing his palms down his face. He turned away from his desk to face the view of the city. He loves his office because of the view. He couldn't imagine living anywhere else but the city.
Georgia ran around in her kitchen frantically. After last night she remained hot and bothered, not even a cold shower satiated the desire in her core. She wanted him...badly, but she didn't want to get attached. Heaven forbid, she actually falls for the imbecile and get her heart broken after the contract lets up. She can't be falling in love left and right without a care.
Sleeping with him won't make you fall in love.
"Shut up!" Georgia said out loud to no one but herself. She groaned and leaned against the counter. She took a deep breath and continued cooking. She placed the seasoned chicken into the oven and set the timer and walked into her room to get dressed.
She quickly washed her body and shaved any place with hair. Then applied lotion all over her body and slipping on new lingerie. Her mind may have said no, but she's done thinking. After all, they're going to get married. Why not just sleep with him for her needs.
