A young man turns around and around on the white sheets of his bed. He is dreaming. Of a boy with white skin. White as the feathers of the swan that swims on the lake behind his house.
He dances in the middle of the lake. He is half naked. Around his waist, a fabric covers his hips. From there, small feathers hang and move around, following the lines of the boy's body.
A few of them, falls over the lake, and gets lost on the deep black water.
He keeps dancing. His pale chest, his slender arms moving around his face, that remains covered by a black veil of feathers. The same colour of his hair. He turns, jumps, and moves his hands as a lost bird...trying to fly.
He watches him dancing, until the boy turns to see him. He can't move. The boy jumps in his direction, and extends his hand.
He is about to take it, when a hand pulls him from behind.
He hear his mother's voice, calling him.
“Edward!”, he yells. “Wake up!”
He opens his eyes. His chest is covered in sweat, and his mother is watching him, sited on the side of the bed. When their eyes meet, she smiles.
“Breakfast is ready”, he sentences, and leaves the room as silently as he entered.
Eddy gets up slowly. His hands are sweaty too. He uncovers his body, and finds a small feather hidden near his feet.***
