Somewhere in Patch, a young boy was getting beaten by this so called "father" for breaking a plate.

Father: Now go to your room and no food for a week!

Y/N: yes sir.

He went upstairs to his room and closed the door. His room looked like a mess. He had no bed, just a blanket to lay on, a closet, and some clothes that was torn. He went up to his so called "bed" and cried. He didn't know why he deserve this. Did his "family" hated his ears and tail. After a few minutes of crying, his "sisters" came to his room.

???: Hey are you ready for your training

Y/N didn't respond.

???: I said are you ready for your training

He still didn't respond. Instead he just gave them an empty look. One of his sisters punched him in the face and he flew back to the wall. They started to beat the ever living hell out of him. He cried and begged them to stop. They ignored him and continued to beat him up.

Father: Rainbow, Thunder dinners ready. Come and get it before it gets cold.

Rainbow: We're coming dad.

As they left Y/N alone in his room, He immediately went to his closet to bandage himself up. He had a broken arm, a broken leg, black eyes, his nose broken, and some of his teeth fell out. After he was done, he made a plan to escape this hellhole.

Y/N: I have to leave this place. If I stay here any longer, then I'll die.

He waited until everyone was asleep and made a move. He grabbed his knife, some food and water. He then wrote a note to his "family" before he went.

Y/N: I'm free. I'M ACTUALLY FREE FROM THAT HELLHOLE. YES

--Time Skip--

After a few hours of walking, he was getting extremely tired. He didn't have much food and water left, so he went to a nearby tree to rest. As he was walking to the tree, he heard some growling. He quickly grabbed his knife and turned around.

Y/N: w-who's there

Silence was all he heard before he saw a beowolf charging at him. The beowolf swiped at him and Y/N barely dodged. He tried to attack it with his knife, but the beowolf quickly knocked it out of his hands. It then swiped his claw at Y/N's stomach, making him scream. The beowolf starting biting him making him scream even more.

Y/N: So this is where I die huh, well mom dad I'm coming soon.

the beowolf yelped in pain, before dying. He saw a woman wearing a white cloak before blacking out.

(A few minutes before. Summers POV)

I was walking back to the house with some groceries, because we needed some more food. Suddenly I heard a child scream. I dropped the groceries and ran as fast as I can to the scream. There I see a child getting bitten by a beowolf. I quickly grabbed my weapon and shot the beowolf in the head. The beowolf howled in pain before dying. I ran over to the kid to see him blacking out. I grabbed him just before he hit the ground. I called Qrow to come meet me where I am. A few minutes later he came and saw the child.

Qrow: What happened to him?

Summer: I was walking back to the house and heard a scream. I came running to the scream, to see him getting bitten by a beowolf. I killed the beowolf and that's what happened. We need to get him to the hospital right now.

He nodded and we both rushed to the nearest hospital. After a few hours, the doctor came back out.

Summer: How is he? Is he doing alright

Doctor: We manage to stabilize him, but he was several broken bones, a few teeth knocked out of his mouth, cuts and bruises all over him. I could say that people beated him.

Summer: oh my Oum, that's terrible. Why would they do that to a child.

Doctor: I don't know, but would you like to see him?

Summer: Of course!

Doctor: Alright right this way.

Summer followed the doctor to his room. He was still out cold.

Summer: When will you think he will wake up?

Doctor: I don't know when he will wake up, but i'm pretty sure soon.
