Chapter 3

Hey, it's your boi here back with another chapter. Sorry for not updating the book recently, but I'm back. I've been doing school and other stuff. Anyways let us not waste any more time and get on with the chapter.

(8 years later, Y/N POV)

It's been 8 years since I escaped that hellhole and lived with the Rose/Xai-Long family and everything has been great. Yang is going to Beacon Academy in a few days and I still have one year left before I go to Beacon to. Ruby however still has to wait for two years until she goes, which is kinda sad for me. Anyways, me and Ruby are at Dust Until Dawn. I'm looking for new equipment to put on my weapon and Ruby is looking at weapon magazines.

(3rd person)

A guy with a red-lined white suit with long black pants and black shoes, with a black bowler hat, came in with some thugs.

Roman: "Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Dust shop open this late." he says

The shop owner is scared and says,

Owner: "Please take my money."

Roman: "Calm down, we're not here for your money... Grab the Dust." he says

The thugs open a briefcase that contains a container. They took the container and put it in the tube and the container sucked the dust powder in. One of the thugs went to the back of the shop and saw Ruby and Y/N.

Thug: "Hey, hands where I can see them." he told them.

They didn't listen because they are blasting music into their ears.

Thug: "Do you have a death wish or something." he said while touching Ruby's shoulders.

Ruby felt the touch and took her headphones off. She turned around and said,

Ruby: Can I help you.

Y/N also notice this and also took off his headphones.

Thug: Put your hands where I can see them.

Ruby: Are you robbing us?

Thug: Yes!!!

Ruby: oooooh

She then proceeds to dropkick him, sending him through the window.

Y/N: Was that really necessary?

Ruby: Yea. He was robbing us.

Y/N: Good point. Now let's go and stop this robbery.

They went out with their guns and saw Roman with some thugs.

Roman: You were worth every cent. Truly, you were. Well, "Red", "Foxy Boy," I think we can all say it's been an eventful evening. And as much as I'd love to stick around, I'm afraid this is where we part ways...

He aimed his cane at them and there was a crosshair and he shot. They both dodged and saw him gone. They found him climbing up a latter.

Ruby: 'Mind if we go after him." She asked and the shopkeeper nodded.

Y/N climbed the latter, while Ruby shot her sniper at the ground, giving her momentum. They made it up to the rooftop and saw Roman standing still.
