Chapter 1 - A New Year Part 1

*Inuyasha's POV*

It's was a knew year and I was walking to school with Miroku and Sango. We were talking about how our summer went and how our lives were going. "Yo Inuyasha" Miroku asked "Yea? what's up?"

"Are you and Kikyo still dating? I know that's probably out of the blue, but I was just curious" Miroku asked

"Yea, we're still dating. Why are you asking anyway?" I asked suspiciously "Not to be rude Inuyasha, but Kikyo is sort of a bitch" Sango stated without hesitation. I slightly glared at her for her statement "Yea I'm sure you had not intention of being rude" I said sarcastically "You know what I mean, and I'm sure that's why Miroku asked about her in the first place. Isn't that right, Miroku?" Sango turned her head towards him.

"Is that true Miroku? Is that why you were asking about Kikyo?" I asked him

"Well, yea to be honest. I mean I know you love her and all, but you can't deny that she is extremely rude ad mean. She picks on the new freshmen that try to fit in. Not to mention she looks down at others." Miroku explained to me

"Honestly you two. Look, I know she can have a temper and can be a little rude, but she also has a lot of pressure on her shoulders." I told them

"The pressure of being popular" Sango said to herself "I heard that Sango!"

"Look I'm sorry, but that that's just me personal opinion about Kikyo, okay?" Sango told me

"Just try to give her another chance okay? I'm sure once you get to know her, she won't be so bad" I said

"Sure, whatever you say" Sango said a little annoyed and Miroku chuckled "What's so funny Miroku" I asked

"Nothing, nothing. It's just that Sango's so cute when she pouts like that" he continues to chuckle. "S-shut up Miroku!!" Sango yelled looking away with a crimson red blush on her face.

"You two are so ridiculous you know that right?" I ask grinning a little

"Oh shut up" Miroku playfully elbowed me in the arm "Can you blame me for complimenting a beautiful girl such as lady Sango?" he said

I rolled my eyes at Miroku's comment. About 15 minutes of walking we finally made it to school, we headed inside of the building and started walking to class. Miroku, Sango, and I went our separate ways and I started walking to my class. But before I made it to class I heard something. "Inu-baby!!" I ture my head and smiled at who was running toward me. "Well hey there Kiki, how's my sweet little gem?" I ask as she tackles me with a bare hug, I hug her back with a smile on my face. She lets go of me and kisses me on the cheek. "I'm doing fine, sorry I was late, I was just walking my annoying little sister to school." Kikyo responded

"That's right! you told me that she'd be transferring here this year" I said

Kikyo looked a little annoyed about it and I remembered what she told me before school started.

*Flashback*

I was in my room with Kikyo as she was telling me about her sister transferring to Shikon University. She told me she didn't want me to talk to her. Like ever. "So how come you don't want me talking to your sister? Is she dangerous or something?" I ask a little sarcastically.

"Inu-babe, I'm serious" She pouts a little making a cute puffy face turning the other direction looking away from me. I chuckle a little and pull her into a hug from behind. "Come on Kiki, you know I'm just teasing you" I kiss her on the cheek as she blushes a little.

"Do you forgive me?" A ask playfully

"mmmmm, m-maybe" She responds a little pouty "Good!" I respond back
