Ahsoka didn't see it coming...
They were onboard their ship and heading toward the planet that they were supposed to land on. Though, they were still quite far away, and waiting for the hyperdrive to finish charging.
Anakin and Ahsoka were the only ones aboard. Obi-Wan was supposed to meet them at their destination. The ship had suddenly collided with something. Whatever it was, it was rough. She could vaguely remember the ship's alarms blaring, along with her face smashing into the control panel. Her master had called out to her, but she could remember hearing his voice cut off, as he had lost consciousness as well.
They had awoken on this strange planet. Ahsoka had just regained consciousness and was about to search for her master. Unfortunately, her leg was badly hurt, and she likely was unable to put pressure on it.
She coughed from the dust surrounding her. Turning her head, she realized that Anakin wasn't where he had been when she had last saw him.
She also couldn't help but take a peek outside..and it wasn't very pleasant...Dark clouds lingered overhead, and the yellowish, orange sand stretched out for miles on end, barely any life in sight.
She got up and stumbled out of the wreckage and onto the sand. Her throat was burning already. Despite the clouds, it was blazing hot here.
Unlike Tatooine, this planet didn't seem habited. At least not around here..She got on her feet, well...technically one foot because she had to keep the other one off the ground. It was covered in dried blood and it hurt...bad.
"Master?!" She called out. Her voice was hoarse.
There was no reply, and she stumbled forward a couple more steps before she couldn't take it anymore and collapsed to the ground. Heavy gasps escaped her as some of the clouds parted, allowing the blazing sun to give out all its heat on her.
She was vaguely aware of the feeling of being lifted up. She felt her lips part as the relieving cool, fresh taste of liquid water slipped down her throat. It seemed to rid of the intense burning she was feeling earlier.
Her eyes opened faintly. She attempted to get a good look at the person who had so thankfully gave her some well-needed water. It was Anakin. But where had be even gone? Did they have water in the ship when it crashed?
"M-master..?" She choked out. Despite her throat feeling slightly more refreshed, her voice was still dry and hoarse.
"I'm here, Ahsoka," came his reply.
She felt relieved and in safe hands as she let her head fall back into his lap. He gave her some more water, which she swallowed gratefully. Overtime, she felt her strength seem to return. Slowly, but quite surely.
The young Togruta attempted to sit up, but her body instantly felt like it could give out any second, and she collapsed.
"Take it easy, Snips. Your worse off than I am. Surprisingly.." Anakin said, looking down at his padawan."So...hot.." She gasped.
Anakin nodded and lifted her into his arms. "We'll go back to the wreckage and find a stable area to sit under."It wasn't long before they were finally back in cool shade.
Ahsoka was sat up against the wall as Anakin inspected her ugly-looking leg.
"Your leg's a mess.." he pointed out, glancing up at her.
"Yea...I know."
Anakin managed to scavenge around and find some bandages. He walked back over and knelt down beside Ahsoka.
"This might hurt.."
He lifted her leg up, which sent a spark of pain through the young Togruta's spine.
"Ouch!" She yelped.
Anakin winced. "Sorry.."
He wrapped the bandage around her bloodied leg. Once he was done, he sat against the wall next to Ahsoka."Does Obi-Wan know we're missing?" She asked.
He shrugged. "Dunno. Probably. If not, he'll figure it out soon."
Ahsoka didn't seem so satisfied by that answer, but shrugged it off.
"How are we.." Ahsoka suddenly found herself feeling much weaker than before. She didn't know why...
"Going to get—" she paused again. Anakin looked toward her in concern.
"Back to...." she groaned, and she toppled over sideways. Anakin quickly grabbed her. "Ahsoka!"
The world was blurry around her, but she was still conscious.
He gently laid Ahsoka down in his lap again, placing the back of his hand on her forehead. He pulled it back quite quickly, feeling how warm she was.
The young Togruta gasped, and involuntarily reached for Anakin's arm, her grip tight.
"You'll be alright, Snips. We'll find some way out of this.." he muttered.
Ahsoka's eyes barely slid open. Her body trembled.Anakin looked down at her. He felt horribly bad for his young padawan. He didn't mean for her to have to suffer more, especially after weeks of nightmares.
Ahsoka reached a hand toward Anakin. "Mas...ter.." her eyes drifted closed and she lost consciousness, her hand dropping limply to her side.
Anakin gently caught her hand, giving it a slight squeeze before laying it beside her. You'll be okay, Snips.
