"Babe?" Y/N heard Jordy's voice call out in your apartment that you own echoing in the empty hallway while you were panicking over the news from your mom over the phone.
When Jordy found you, he hurried to your side and helped you focus on him, "baby, breathe, breathe with me." He instructs as y/n focused with blurred vision, unshed tears threatening to fall, but she felt herself calming down as tears slipped from her eyes.
"Baby, what's wrong?" His gentle yet tough voice breaks the silence that lingered after the attack before you could reply, fresh tears slipped as y/n found your voice to talk, swallowing thickly, "My um mom called and told me that uh." Y/N wrings her hands tightly with nerves as she looked at Jordy before finishing what she started, "My brother overseas died from deploying a field mine."
As soon as the words came from her, she started sobbing which Jordy pulled her tighter to his chest while muttering comforting words while letting her sob in his chest. Y/N fell asleep listening to his heartbeart as it calmed you enough to sleep on him, smiling as he spoke, "I love you so much Y/N, you will never be alone, ever." His tone held determination which made her smile in her sleep as tears rolled down her cheeks.
