The Masterpiece

There was a place called the Garden of Eden. It was created by God himself and He put there the best Masterpiece He had. He created them in His image and in His likeness. He carefully formed the man from the dust and He created the best helper for him called woman, he was taken out of his ribs. Therefore, she was made through the man and for the man. He breathed life to them. They lived happily together doing the tasks given to them by their Master. They ate and enjoyed every single day together. They were inseperable. They kept in their hearts and minds the most important command of the Creator, not to eat the forbidden fruit.

One day, the man stared at the face of the woman, he was so happy and told her, "You complete me". He remebered the days that he was living alone, talking and enjoying time with the animals whom he had named. He did not feel any satisfaction from them. They could not even talk to him. But he was amazed that they were wonderfully created by God. How the birds could fly from above, the animals could walk and run as fast as they could, and the sea creatures could swim even to the deepest oceans. They could do what He could not do but they were totally differrent from him. So he said, "I need someone like me" and that was you. He also remembered the first time his eyes saw the woman when he woke up with the woman on his side. He was so surprised and brought him at the altar. He said, "Finally, you are the one I was longing for and truly desire, you are the one suited for me. You will be my best helper and partner in this life. You are bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh". The woman agreed to him and said, "I am yours and you are mine". And they became as one. God blessed them saying, subdue the earth and fill them with your offspings.

The woman was astonished in the beauty of the garden, she felt the fresh air and smelled the flowers all around. She danced with the tress and enjoyed stepping on the grass touched by the dews in the morning. She was awestruck with the God who created everything around her. They had constant fellowship with God, their Creator. He is full of light, He looks very great and no one compares to Him. He taught them many things about his creations and enjoyed talking with them. In the cool of the day, His footsteps would be heard in the garden and He was excited everyday to see His great masterpiece. The garden of Eden was of full joy and laughing, the animals were running and walking around, the birds were singing and the trees and plants were dancing in the field. The Creator loved his masterpiece, they brought Him so much joy in His heart. The man and the woman have everything they need, they dont have to work and labor for them. They just rested all day to their God and fully trust Him for everything because they existed through Him so He really cares for them.

But there was an evil being watching from a distance who really hated this masterpiece in the garden enjoying life with their Creator. In his envy, he was thingking evil thoughts and plans about them everyday. Finally, he came up with a good idea. He would tempt one of the weakest of them. He knew that the man loved the woman, so he would believed her no matter what. The evil being decieved the woman, and the woman tried to convince her partner to accept this lie as she did. Then, they both fell in to the trap of this wicked serpent.

God who was aware of everything that had happened looked around for the human. "Where are you?", he asked. He knew they were hiding from Him because they knew they were naked. He called them to give account for what they had done. He asked them, why did you eat the forbidden fruit? The man blamed the woman, and the woman blamed the serpent. They all got what they deserved for their wrong doing---punishment. God knew from the beginning that this would happen in the end, but He promised redemption for the human so they could have a new beginning. It broke the heart of God because from that day on He needed to keep a distance from the human being He created and loved. However, He continually showed care for them, He made them clothes from animal's skin so they would be warmed. He directed them to the place they should go and how they should now live away from Him. It's the saddest parting ways ever in the history, their hearts were broken, tears were flowing in regret. Human being was leaving the Garden of Eden, where they began to live and enjoy life under the care of their Creator. The blessings of the garden was taken away from them and they had to work hard and labor to survive living on their own, they needed to make their own provision for their needs. Moreover, stain of guilt was in their conscience and now their only hope was the promise of Redemption.
