"Ah."

"Nico!"

All three of them said at the same time.

Honey and Rei had complicated expressions whereas Nico felt as if this coincidence truly incomprehensible. Vikram looked back and forth at his guests with interest.

"It seems further introductions are in order."

Vikram said with a smile as he looked at the new arrival called Nico. He seemed to regret it though since his friendly attempt was returned with an intense glare. He felt her cold eyes that were of similar colour to his slowly examined and measured his figure up and down. It felt as if he was a plump prey laid down on the table, ready to be dined by a hungry predatory. That gaze unnerved him and he turned to Honey for help.

"Nico, stop staring at him," Honey scolded her friend.

"Do I have to? He's quite cute," Nico raised an eyebrow while smirking.

"Horn dog," Rei snorted before she warned Vikram, "You should be careful. That thing preys on good looking people."

"Oh. Um, thank you for the compliment," Vikram blushed. So that glare was only because she was checking him out.

"No wonder you followed after me," Shaza raised an eyebrow with an amused smile.

"Aw man. The cat's out of the bag," Nico jokingly responded.

"Let's not make them stand then. Shaza and Miss Nico, please take a seat and join us for some tea," Vikram offered politely.

Shaza swiftly took a seat on an unoccupied two-seater sofa. Nico nonchalantly sat next to him and proceeded with drinking an offered tea. Honey and Rei stared with interest, especially on the unknown man that their friend arrived with. For their friend, Nico, who often avoid strangers, to actually sit with a person she had met only today had long surpassed their expectations.

This man might not be so simple. Birds of the same feathers flock together after all. Honey thought in her mind.

Once everyone was seated, Raf arrived at the office after settling some matters. Vikram had the maid attending them to leave the room before they began talking.

"I seemed to have forgotten my manners. Even though I've given my name but I have yet to ask for yours. How about we start again? I'll go first. My name is Vikram Kaiele. This is Rafael, my capable subordinate. And the man sitting over there is called Shaza, also a subordinate of mine."

Vikram promptly introduced themselves and waited eagerly for the girls to introduce themselves in return.

"This feels like a matchmaking session," Rei chuckled.

Honey smiled apologetically at her friend's attitude before she introduced herself politely, "I'm Yui Yakakimo but you can just use my English name, Honey. Don't comment on it. It was my mother's idea."

"And I am the great, mighty and capable Rei Fujiwara. My life motto is 'Money is life. If you have no money, scram out of my sight'," Rei said those words proudly and without shame as she stood up. 

Everyone was silent, shocked into a stupor. Rei even had the gall to crossed her arms in front of her chest and was even smirking smugly like a roadside thug!

"I really want to punch that face," Nico said with a tired face.

Rei huffed in annoyance, "As if you can ever touch my glorious face."
