Prologue

Tyler Stein, Brother of Chase Stein knew he wasn't the favorite and his parents made it obvious that Chase was. They would buy whatever Chase wanted, paid more attention to Chase when he needed help, hell they even let him start a project by himself.

It's been a rough life for Tyler. When he was younger he lost his best friend Amy to overdose and the group of friends that were together since childhood disbanded and everyone did their own thing now. Chase became a jock, Karolina became a church girl, Molly stayed positive, gert became some type of activist, Nico went goth, and Alex, well he just stayed Alex, and Tyler, well he became a loner and became too shy to make new friends.

Tyler could see that Chase became popular now and acted like they were never friends or brothers in the first place. Now he bullies kids like Tyler who are too scared to stand up for themselves. Tyler knew the old Chase would never do that. Chase and Tyler barely talked at home and did their separate hobbies.

Chase was now known as a big asshole then a big brother to Tyler and avoided him at all cost because for all Tyler knows Chase could heartlessly bully his own brother.

Karolina and Tyler never talked after the group disbanded, but still smiled at each other when they were in the halls of Atlas academy. Karolina was Tyler's favorite in the group. She just always had a warm smile on even though Tyler knew she was dealing with the loss of Amy too.

Nico, well she went through a whole personality change after Amy's death and Tyler doesn't blame her. Nico was the one always suspecting that Amy didn't kill herself self and it seemed believable to Tyler. In Tyler's view, of Amy would never be the type of person to kill themselves. She just always seemed happy.

Gert is now called the highschool activist who believes in women's rights and Tyler could never be more proud of her finally speaking her opinion, even though they never really got along. 

Molly is still her positive young self that Tyler thought of as his own little sister. He always took care of her when something would happen and he would always be there to comfort her.

Alex is still the nerdy Alex that Tyler knows. He gets a little laugh from Alex when he overhears him talking about nerdy stuff. 

These were the friends he used to have and now he needs to find a way to get them back. Maybe he should start talking to Alex, he's the only one that wants the group back more than him.
