After that phone call, I really needed fresh air. The party was in an open area but the girls and the noise were making it impossible for me to think.
I stood up and started searching for Harry, the birthday boy. I was in no mood to stay any longer. I really needed to get out of that place as soon as possible
I spotted Harry with two girls hanging and clinging to him like clothes on hanger. One of them had brown hair and blue eyes and the other one had black hair and brown eyes. And both of them wore black dresses. Well, I was no fan of spoiling his clingy fun but there was no way I was staying there for even another minute
"Hey bro! sorry I need to go man." I said grabbing his attention.
"Dude its not even 11" I looked at my watch. He was right. I was supposed to stay till 1 but now I had a task at hand and I was feeling restless.
"Sorry yaar, I really need to go"
He cocked his head and raised his eyebrow. I knew he wanted an explanation, but no ways I was giving it in front of those two clingy papers.
I wanted to make it look obvious.
My gaze travelled from him to the girl to his left and then to his right.
I shrugged and mouthed 'later'
"You better be ready with a good reason bro" Waoh! Green signal.
"Happy birthday man. Have fun."
I walked out of the lawn and the fresh air hit my face. My nostrills began dancing with the touch of the breeze. I was feeling relaxed.
I decided to walk till the bus stand. I needed some time to think. I looked up and saw my all time favourites 'stars'. The only person on that road was me. So I walked confidently with my gaze fixed on stars.
My thoughts drifted back to girl on the call. She sounded soft and unsure when she asked my name. There was a softness in her voice and I could literally imagine her pink lips, but why her tone suddenly took a u pin bend when she talked about my brother. Did he do something worth a police complaint?
I didn't realise when my focus shifted from stars to moon. 'Beautiful' was one word that I thought whenever I looked at it.
I was not sure about watever she said because it was so not like my brother.
Troubles and him were antonyms. But I couldnot let it go. I needed to know, who Amy is and how my brother was involved. If Niskarsh has nothing to do with it, the girl who called, was in serious trouble.Bang!
"oooouuuchh" I heard myself saying this when something with lots of black hair collided with my chin
Oh! no! Not something. Someone. A girl.
I took a step backwards to take a better look but the girl started falling backwards. I snaked my hand behind her waist and was miserably failing to hold her still.
She jerked her head back and whooosh! the black hair was wiped out of her face by unfelt wind and a smile spread across her face showing sparkly white teeth.
Wow! she looked pretty. But My god! She was drunk. I mean drunk to the brink.
I frowned upon the amount of smell of alcohol hitting my nose. I guess today its written in my fate to meet drunk girls literally reeking of alcohol.
But she smiled again and I melted. You know right? Guy's weak point- a innocent looking girl's smile.
I was busy discovering her black eyes when I was slapped tight and straight in my face
I blinked a few times.
What the hell! The girl was still smiling.
I mean how can you slap and smile? But wait! Thats when I noticed a girl in red emerging out of nowhere to give a angry glare at me.
