dont drink and drive

it was a warm spring morning. the bus was almost done with its route. everything was going hiw it normally went, kids being loud, standing up. it was one of those days when kadien decided to buckle up, just cuz of a bad feeling. his feet where hooked under er the seat in front of him. thats then it happened, they got hit in a head end collision, the bus flew up in the air and landed upside down. Kadien and 4 others where upside down, hanging by their seatbelts of the rickity old bus. the world grew quiet and kadien let out a scream. his legs where crushed, all 20 of his peers where dead or in critical condition laying on the busses ceiling that was now the floor. sirens was all that he could hear aside from screams of pain and dispare. he and 7 of the kids that where laying on the ceiling where rushed to the hospital in critical condition. the other 3 that hung from their seats just had minor cuts and bruises. the other 13 kids where dead. 10 sixth graders, 4 seventh, and one eight. kadien was paralyzed from the waist down from nerve damage.

he was unbelievably lucky he decided to wear is seatbelt.

Kadien never rode in a car again. the whole school was devastated over the loss of 20 students and one half paralyzed.

the driver that hit them was drunk, and on the wrong side of the road. the bus driver had also died on impact.
