It had been a month since Ryan had died. The funeral was chaotic enough to make Seán never want to go to another again. Jessica had been the one to show her sadness the most, since she had never been good at concealing her feelings. Until now, that is.
Jessica was obviously going through a depression that not even Erin could fix. Erin couldn't even fix his own feelings, so he didn't know how he could possibly try and help his girlfriend.Erin yawned, stretching tiredly as he got up out of bed. It was a Monday, so that meant that he actually had to go to school today. The still tired boy yawned again, walking over to his dresser and pulling out an outfit. Just some black pants and a white button down shirt. He also grabbed a plain white t-shirt to wear under his uniform.
He quickly got dressed, having taken a shower the night before so he wouldn't have to worry about it. Erin walked off to his bathroom, brushing his teeth and just making sure he overall looked presentable. He leaned over, grabbing some bandages out from under a cabinet. He, as carefully as possible, removed the bandage that was on his arm. He tossed it in the trash, silently hissing as he cleaned the cut and put a new bandage on it.
He and his parents had gone out looking for a cat for Liam, his younger brother. His birthday was coming up so that would be his present. Unfortunately for Erin, one of the cats they checked out was definitely not the nicest and it had cut him. The cut didn't look that bad, but it was pretty deep for a cat scratch. The placement definitely looked suspicious, but his friends knew that he would never even think about harming himself. He hoped so at least.
Erin walked back out, grabbing his backpack and heading out the door. He ran all the way down the staircase and walked through the front door, deciding to skip breakfast as usual. As he stared at the bright rays the Arizona sun cast down onto the ground, Erin had a feeling that today going to be a pretty good day.

Short StoryJust some oneshots to get out if I ever have an idea that doesn't fit with a story. Will definitely have self harm, suicide, abuse, and probably more triggering subjects. Will definitely also have fluffy stuff, but probably more angst.
