Trigger Warning: Suicide

Ryan slammed his fist on the ground, sobbing as he clenched both his fists tightly. He was done. He couldn't take it anymore. The short life he had wasn't enough to make up for the years of pain and suffering he had gone through. Sure, his friends had helped a little but it wasn't enough. It would never be enough. He'd tried everything. The pills, the therapy, the self harm. It all helped for a little while, but then he'd go right back to being back in the dark again. He ran his hand through his hair, fumbling with his phone. He didn't want to write a lousy note just for his parents to find. No. If he was going to kill himself, he didn't want them to be the first to know. He grabbed his bag, opening his window and climbing out, fumbling with his phone. He went into the group chat, pressing call and praying that everyone would pick up. One by one, everyone did.

"Ry? What's up?" Seán asked, obviously tired considering it was late at night. "Yeah Ryan, what's going on?" Jess asked next, making Ryan let out an audible sob. He checked the list. Everyone was in the chat. "I need you guys to listen carefully, okay. I'm really, really sorry." He sniffled a little. "Are you okay?" Erin questioned, Lillian still being silent. "No, I'm not. But I will be. I just want you to know, thank you for everything. You all have helped me so much through all the shit I've gone through without a second thought." His speech was shaky, tears rapidly falling down his face. " I'm sorry I waited until now you let you know how grateful I am. Jess. I want you to know how much I loved you. I loved you more than I loved myself. You've been my best friend since forever and I hate to see how far you've fallen. Lillian, I'm so, so sorry. You don't deserve anything that's happening to you, and I hope you'll get the help you need so you won't end up like me. No, shush." He heard someone try and say something, but he wouldn't let them, they had to hear this. They just had to. "Erin. You're amazing, strong, helpful, and you're a really good friend. Please don't forget that. And Seán, love, don't let your past define who you are now. You are beautiful, and I pray that you know how much I love you. I wish I could hug you, but there's no time." He stopped, dropping to his knees. He had reached his destination. His sister's grave laid in front of him, the flowers old and grayed. "What are you talking about? Babe?" Seán frantically asked, only hearing sobbing. "I'm so sorry I couldn't be strong, but at least I'll get to see you again." Ryan muttered, pushing himself up. He walked over, away from the graveyard and to the forest nearby, getting on the ground and opening his bag, pulling out a gun. All his friends were wide awake now, talking to him. It was all a blur. "I tried to get help, I really did. All I ask, is that none of you follow me. I swear to God, Seán if I see your beautiful face in Heaven, I'm killing you again." He muttered to himself, giving a bittersweet laugh as he gripped his gun. "All of you. I'm sorry, I love you, and I can't wait to see you again." All the voices were now blended together, screaming different things. He took a deep breath, said a quick prayer, and pointed the gun to his head. "Again, I love you all so much." Those were his last words, for all that you could hear next was a deafening gunshot, a thud, and sobs.
