Bella's Point of View
I told Jake that I would tell Nessie but I really wanted to give her sometime. I wanted to make sure Jacob was really going to stand up to his word. Tonight was the big night. It had been a few months since jake asked her. He had been so busy with tracking that it made her worry he wouldn't keep his promise. Me and Edward always told her that the pack needed him and when he was done keeping everyone safe he'd tell her it was time. Yesterday He came by with flowers and candy. There was a note to her. It said, "Nessie i'm sorry its been so long since we talked I promise that everything will be okay. Tomorrow i'd like to take you out. Don't worry bout your clothes you can wear anything. I love you and can't wait to spent all night with you. All my love Jacob your favorite werewolf." She smiled from ear to ear and ran right into her daddy's arms. It was so cute. Her and Edward were so close. He said he'd promise not to kill Jacob if they kissed but I know it hurt him inside. Not that he hated jake just that his daughter was dating. I know I felt that same way. Nessie was our everything and we want to keep her little as long as possible. But against my better judgement I knew it was time to let her grow up. I also knew that Jake would keep her safe. He was my best friend and I did still loved him as my little, well not so little, brother. When Nessie was first born I didn't know if thats what I wanted for her, but now I can see it there in her eyes. She's like I was over her father, but instead of a vampire or a human my daughter picked my shapeshifting best friend. So with all that said I say this. I promised to tell Nessie and I will. Today right now I am telling her. I made my way to her door. "Nessie may I come in?" "yes mom." I opened the door to her room and found her sitting on her bed looking at the bracelet jake had made for her. "Nessie honey may I have a little chat with you about Jacob?" "Sure mommy What is it?" She lit up when anyone said he's name or he was around. "Honey i want to tell you bout mine and jakes relationship the year you were conceived. Well i'll go back a little more than that. Anyway I'll start off by saying that everything got fixed and we are all happy now." I sat next to her on the bed and grabbed her hand and held it. " Nessie, your daddy felt it best to leave me at one point in time. Thought i would be better if he left me all by myself. Of course my love he was wrong. I was dead inside. I had nothing and I felt nothing. Your grandpa Charlie was going to send me away but I refused to go. Things did get better when I started hanging with Jake more. I felt complete. He made me feel very alive. Daddy came back but didn't like the fact that Jake was in my life nor did Jake like your daddy. For my birthday Jake gave me a bracelet with a wolf on it. Daddy was a bit upset but mommy was in danger so they put things aside for me. I did love Jacob more than anything. And we did kiss but I loved your daddy more than anything. He was my everything. Nessie, I just wanted to tell you so that you understood our past. The day you were born I was changing into what I am now, a vampire. You didn't mean to but you hurt me a lot while you were inside and when you came out Jake he became like my brother. So it scared me a bit that he imprinted on you before I had a chance to get to know you. Now it seems like he'll be my son in law soon. I love you very much. Is there anything you want to say before Alice comes in to help you get dressed for your date darling?" She was quite at first. Not really sure what to say. Maybe she was dumbfounded by the fact that I really ranting and rattling on. She looked at me with a serious look on her face. "Mom thank you for letting me know all this, but I could have gone without knowing you and Jake kissed. I mean I know he love me and only me for his future I just don't want to hear that anymore. As for why you got close to Jake like that I have a few for dad none for you. All in all i'm just happy Jake's mine now cause I love him very much. I love probably more than you love dad." "Nessie, no one will ever love anyone ever as much as I love you and your father." "Aww mom I love you to, now can I get ready Jake will be here soon and I want to ready when he gets here?" she was ready. He was meant to be hers and I saw that undying love in her eyes. He was hers and we'd all have to deal with this choice. " I love you too Ness." and I was out the door the second Alice went in. "No I don't want to wear that. Gr.. I'm going to tell daddy to come up here. No better yet i'll tell mom. Omg, Alice." "Ugh hold still. You are way to much like your mother." "Are we almost done yet? I want to go see my dad before Jacob gets here. Me and him have a few things to discuss." "I'm sure it can wait i'm almost done." They were upstairs having it out. I laughed when I came into the living room "Whats so funny my love?" "It seems as though our daughter has an aversion to letting Alice dress her too." He laughed with me this time. " She becomes more like you everyday. I worry though that she will be like you and not think with her head most days like you did when you were a human and let the emotions get into the way." "Darling you forget i'm not the one who almost tried killing you, leaving you. You put your emotion way above what I do. I love you so much though. I can over look that part of you." I laughed and of course he lent in and kissed me so passionately. There was a knock on the doorway. "Nessie please come in." she walked in like she was so very upset but she looked stunning. "Awe my sweet angel you look amazing." We both were thinking the same thing. "Dad I want to have a few minutes of your time if you don't mind. Mom please leave I want to have it with Edward alone." Edward was now getting madder by the minute. "Renesmee Carlie Cullen, you do not use that tone of voice with me or your mother ever again do you hear me?" He was hot. Renesmee looked at me and said "Mom it might be better if you stayed here so dad don't get mad at me. I just want to hear from you. Why did you leave mom really dad? You tore her up on the inside i mean she is in pain thinking about it. why? How cow not see it would be bad for her? I guess vampires have no souls right?" That did it Edward was pissed. " You know what i think of that comment young lady, i think that you are grounded no phone, no Tv, no nothing, and especially no school for you anymore. Jacob is not aloud here anymore till I say. And if you ever speak to me like that again there will be no Jacob period. I will not have that attitude in my home. Not ever. You will stay in your room for 2 weeks. The only times your aloud out is to eat and use the restroom and to shower. If you want to do more well you can't i'm sorry." He was putting his foot down a little hard I thought" oh hunny I know but she'll all dressed up and jakes on his way. Ground her tomorrow okay?" Tonight let her go let her have fun. She means no harm really she's just upset okay. I love you so does she." "Ugh fine Jakes here anyway. Nessie this is not the end of this discussion when you get home you are to go straight to your room no talking straight there. Do you understand what i'm saying?" "Yes dad. Now can I go see Jacob please?" "Yes, I guess so." She ran right out of the room I heard him in the kitchen. I walked around the corner and saw Jake pick Nessie up and swing her around. Next to him anyone would look like a small child. Nessie looked itty bitty. "Hey Jake." I gave him a smile. Edward wasn't ready to be good. I had to be nice for the both us? "So where are you taking my daughter tonight?" "I can't tell you that it's a surprise to Nessie. I want to leave most of the night a surprise. The only one who knows is Alice." " And I won't speak anything till Jake has gotten Nessie out of here." "You know Alice if you don't tell Bella you will have to answer to me." Edward laughed as he came to stand by me. He went over to Renesmee and Jake. "Take care of my princess tonight Jacob Black or you won't have legs to stand on." "Dad you promised." Renesmee shook her head at her father. He simply turned toward Ness and said, "Me and your mother have agreed to let you date. I will not stand for anything that will make us be upset at you. That means only a slight kiss thats it. If I know of anything else you will never be allowed to see each other again. Do you understand young lady, Jake?" "Yes," They both agreed. I think Jake was quite fond of his legs Staying attached. I really doubted that he looked at my baby girl in any inappropriate ways. "Come Ness its time to get going. See you guys later." Ness kissed and hugged us all before she left. It was time for my baby to grow up and be an adult. She knew right from wrong. It was time me and Edward just accept that Nessie is growing up in so many beautiful ways. I am so proud of the person that she was becoming.
