Ch.1

The familiar smell of worn out paper and pencils washed over Percy as he entered the cold building. Chatter and laughter was to be heard everywhere, but it quieted only slightly as heads turned to see the 'Cutest boy of all,'
Percy Jackson.
But ignoring the stares, he headed to the only group that was staring with welcoming smiles.
"Hey guys," Percy said, shrugging off his backpack and kicking it to the side. "You wanna go to Lucy's after school? I got a gift card."
"Lemme see that!" Marcus snached the card from his hands before Percy could react, "Yo! That's a fifty! I always dreamed of being rich.."
"With all you eat, I really don't think that'll cover it."
"Speak for yourself, Mr. Blue!"
Lily chuckled and got the card from Marcus, rightfully handing it to Percy, "Lucy's sounds great."
"K then, it's a date," Marcus replied, winking at Lily as she rolled her green eyes.
Percy laughed as the bell rang and they rushed to class.

Annabeth***

Drinking hot chocolate with Piper was one of Annabeth's favorite things to do during the winter, although it wasn't particularily cold, at least, not to her.
Moments like these are so bittersweet, Annabeth thought, Loving to live them but missing them afterwards.
But all her worried thoughts slipped away as they laughed and threw snow.
Just then, Jason came in the thickest jacket of all and sat down next to them.
Piper rolled her eyes, "You know how he is with the cold," she said, as Annabeth nodded and tried to hold back her laughter.
"Well at least I take care of myself, PiPeR. I can't wait to see you complaining about having a cold. Besides, that's a really thin sweater. Take one of mine."
"Are you sure you can survive with only five coats, JaSoN?"
"That's six, actually." He replied with a snug smile as he put one of his six coats on Piper's shoulders.
"Thanks mom." Piper said at last while she kissed his cheek.
"You know I would anytime. How about you Annabeth? You're not even a little cold?" Jason asked with a concerned look. He began shrugging off his sixth jacket.
  Annabeth smiled, but shook her head, "Oh no please, im good. Thank you though."
Jason shrugged, but then looked like a lightbulb clicked on atop of his head, "Oh yea! Chiron wants us at the big house. Leo, Frank, Hazel, Pipes, you and me."
"What for?" Annabeth asked.
"No clue. Let's go find out."
He took Pipers hand as the three headed to the big house.
