Chapter 3 SOS

When Sara woke up she realizes she woke up before everyone else. At this point she does not know that Lucy passed away she just assumes that she is asleep like everyone else. Sara got up and walked toward the ocean she sat down on the sand and watched the sun rise. Next thing you know Lucas is sitting next to her. She looked at him and says "do you think we are gonna make it?" Lucas who is still a little groggy from just waking up says " ya i do we just need to stay positive and it will all work out for the best don't lose hope" sara gets up and starts to sketch S...O...S into the sand Lucas sees what she is drawing and asks "why are you writing that?" Sara finishes drawing it in huge letters then says "so if a plane flies over head they will see it and come help" Lucas smiles and says "good idea now lets head back to the group before they start to worry" sara shakes her head yes then says " ya and i want to check on Lucy" they headed back to the spot where everyone else was and by the the time they got back everyone was awake well almost everyone. They were all gathered around something but what? Sara and Lucas make there way to the group. Lucas says "whats going on?" Jace had answered the question (jace was on the football team with Lucas they were good friends) Jace spoke up he said "its Lucy" once Sara heard the name she pushed her way to the middle of the circle where mr.collins was kneeling down by Lucy checking her pulse and doing mouth to mouth resuscitation. Sara knelt down and said "whats going on what are you doing is Lucy okay???" Mr.collins checked her pulse one more time then looked at sara and said " i am sorry Sara she is gone she must have past through the night" Sara began sobbing and screaming "NO! YOUR LYING WAKE UP LUCY WAKE UP" Lucas grabs Sara trying to pull her away from Lucy. Sara is sobbing and trying to escape from Lucas who won't let go because he knows sara and knows all she needs right now is a hug. After Sara composed herself they buried Lucy and laid the bracelet she was wearing on the grave. Lucy was wearing a necklace but Sara took that off and put it on to keep safe for her just incase they get rescued it was a gold heart with a diamond in the middle. Sara sat on the beach where she wrote SOS and held the necklace to her heart. Just then a paper plane landed next to her.
