In the department Gavin was in the break room,saying something about hand to hand combat.
Connor and Hank heard the conversation.
Gavin looked at (y/n).
"Hey ! (L/n)" he yelled.
(Y/n) sigh.
"What?".
"Since your the best detective,I always wonder ,how strong are you".Gavin ask.
"Well probably strong as you".(y/n) replied.
"Prove it".Gavin challenge him
For (y/n) he sigh and said.
"Alright let's do it"he said
Gavin look surprised.
"Really?".
"Yea you said prove how strong I am and now I'm gonna prove it".
"I didn't think your gonna do it".
"Well you ask for it".
(Y/n) got into his fighting position.
"Okay....let's get into i......"Gavin charge at him but got kick in the stomach."gah!!!".
"Well that was fast".(y/n) said.
"Hang on I'm not done with y....."Gavin starts to attack but.
(Y/n) grab his arm and flip his whole body to the ground,putting his knee on his chest ,his foot on Gavin's arm.
"Have you given up yet Reed".he asked.
"Yes I...I yield".Gavin said in defeat.
(Y/n) got up and walk to his office.
"Detective (l/n)".
He turned and see Connor.
"Can I ask you something"he said
(Y/n) smiled and nodded.
"Sure what is it".
" where did you learn that from".he asked.
It was personal to (y/n).
"My father taught me".He answered.
"Your father taught you that".Connor asked.
"Yes,he was very skilled at Hand to hand combat".he replied.
"Wow,I can tell for what you did to Read".
"Yep,well I never use it until its necessary".
"Necessary?".
"Yea,my skills are only made for defense and Defense only".
"Whoa".
"Anyway see you Connor,I got to get back to work".
"See you,detective".
(Y/n) smile and left to his office.that smile soon faded.
