Today is the day, the day she signs on the biggest business deal she's finalized in her entire lifetime, the day she gives away everything, every emotion, every dream of her ideal lover, every thought of a lifelong partner, as she signs the legal marriage union contract.

This is Abhaya, and today's she's getting married. Everything is perfectly set up, her mother is the wedding planner after all. The gazebo on the beach has her favourite peach and lavender colour touches, the white sand is perfectly primed for the wedding video, the guest's chair's are set at the perfect angles for social media pictures, the snacks and champagne are of it's best quality, the weather is at it's best, numerous media reporters, videographers, photographers, make up artists are all set, and most importantly, her parents are happy. Their daughter has finally agreed to settle down, she will finally think about herself and stop running around stressing for their well being, she will finally fall in love with someone deserving and start feeling attachment rather than fleeing on her own when she's got too much on her mind. Montreal's maiden has finally said yes.
Or at least, that's what they think.
As for the groom, Arnav, has been enjoying his stay at the beach resort for the past three days already with his friends. He couldn't be less worried, being Toronto's richest youngest business man, belonging from a family of affluent businessmen, Arnav agreed for Abhaya the minute he saw her social etiquettes, her achievements, her elegance and class. After all, high class families do require the type of daughter-in-law that would be capable of upholding the grandiose public image such business owners portray. And being an eligible bachelor, Arnav had enough of being threatened to being disowned from the family wealth for being too involved with good looking model-like ladies, over drinking and creating ruckus, so he was now looking to settle with a woman that had class, intelligence, and skills to represent his family the best way possible. Though Abhaya was nowhere near being a model, she was known to be a relentless businesswoman, a primed public speaker, and one to have good taste for the finer things in life. She didn't need much to be happy, and this surety was enough for Arnav to tie the knot.

It sure was an arranged mariage between families, but between the bride and groom, a mere business deal. Since Abhaya had given up on trusting men and believing in marriages a long time ago, and Arnav was not willing to give up his lavish lifestyle and having multiple women in his bed, however, they both wanted to give their respective families the peace of mind and the happiness of seeing their child settle down and have a family of their own.
The agreement was rather simple between Abhaya and Arnav, they would get married on contract in which after the successful completion of all vows in front of public and family, Arnav would purchase a fleet of eight aircrafts for Abhaya's charter airline and help her in developing the respective airport of her choice to start the airline operations. Furthermore, he would never interfere in her financial expenses, nor in the way she would run her business, and would provide for them when need be. This would make her parents so proud she thought. She would marry the man of their choice, and be the youngest business woman in the aviation industry then. She would finally make her parents proud. In exchange, Abhaya would never interfere in Arnav's life in regards to whom he's with or what he's up to. She would also appear in all public events and family gatherings with him as his duly wedded bride, just like Arnav would.
Everything was rolling out as planned, until someone completely unexpected knocked on Abhaya's door. As the door opened, she fell weak in her knees, had difficulty breathing, and before she could say a word, she fainted.

Twenty-eight years ago, Abhaya was born to a family of a rare mix. Her mother was an international affairs officer, working as a diplomat at the United Nations in New York, from a family of Indian Air Force officers. Her father was town's richest business man, owning 90% of all trucking business, from a family of rather orthodox entrepreneurs. They both were high end achievers throughout their lives. Her mother had won numerous national shooting competitions, international scholar, university topper, pilot, and was the modern barbie of the town. Her father was known to be the goon of the city, everyone ran to him for any issues they needed solved, he'd always been the university sports team captain, pilot, and not to mention, the girl's dream man with his height and well built muscles. These two met in university as Abhaya's mother turned out to being her father's teacher. Typical movie love story, the student fell in love with his teacher, the teacher got angry, the student played tricks and what not, they both fall in love and live happily ever after.
Though in this case, there was no happy every after.
