Kakyoin & Jotaro [PT. 2]

You pulled out of work with butterflies in your stomach at the compliment Jotaro had given you. You thought about him a bit more, yeah sure he was good looking but he's your co-worker. The angel on your shoulder said. But the way your name rolled off his tongue, the devil on your other shoulder said.

The arguments you have with your own brain, incredible [Y/N].

You felt a shiver down your spine and shook your head getting rid of those thoughts.

It was the next morning and you were getting up for work again. You put on some black leggings a white blouse and a dusty red colored cardigan.

You made your way to work. You made your way over to Tanaka's office to see what he was having you do today.

He greeted you with a warm smile.
"Morning Mr.Tanaka" you said with a smile.
"Morning Miss [L/N]" he said looking up at you.
"i'm glad you came to my office first, you are going to continue the study of the starfish with Mr.Kujo and Mr.Kakyoin" he explained.
It would be another round of yesterday once again.
"Today i have a specific task, i would like for you to find out why this new species came to be, take more DNA samples and be descriptive. Sketch out things, anything works" he said with a warm smile.
You nodded your head as you made you way over to the other building. You quietly made your way into the seemingly empty building. You went down the hall up to the door of the room you three were working in.

You heard a muffled conversation.
Is that Kakyoin and Jotaro?

You pressed your ear to further investigate.
"I'm doing it this time" i heard Jotaro say.
"What?! Why?! You did it last time" i heard kakyoin slightly pout.
"i did not" Jotaro said sighing.
I heard footsteps and they shifted.
"J-Jotaro not here" i heard Kakyoin stutter.
"Why the hell not?" i heard Jotaro say seemingly irritated.
"Because we're at work stupid" i heard Kakyoin say back.

I didn't know what to do with this information, i didn't exactly know what it meant. If i entered just as they finished their conversation it would be awkward.

You went into the break room and left your belongings in your designated area. You entered the room through the door in the break room.
"Goodmorning [L/N]" Kakyoin said with a smile.
"Morning" i responded, saying it to the both of them.
"Morning and please call me [Y/N]" i said smiling.
"Gotcha" Kakyoin said pointing finger guns at me with a smile.
I giggled a little as Jotaro nudged Kakyoin. Kakyoin nodded and began working.

The day passed by fairly quickly when you had your dream job. Doing the thing you loved.

Lunch came and this time your lunch was already in the break room, no need to go to your car. You took a seat in the same spot as yesterday and began eating.

Jotaro surprisingly approached you and it startled you quite a bit. He took a seat in the spot across from you and looked up at you.

"i was wondering if you wanted to come over for dinner at my place" he said bluntly.
A small blush dusted your cheeks at his blunt request.
At first you said nothing and then he tipped his hat foward to hide his face.
"yare yare, you don't have too if you don't want to" he said quietly.
"uh, y-yeah i'd love too" you said nervously.
You had never been asked out so bluntly.
"okay then, i'll hope to see you there at 8 tonight" he said smirking.
He handed you a slip of paper and leaned over across the table putting a piece of hair behind your ear as he stood up to leave.

You blushed at his actions as you watched him exit the break room. You opened the paper and it had an address. You sighed and rubbed your temples.

What the fuck just happened.
