Cassidy

His lips feel foreign and dirty. I hate it. It digusts me.

I try prying his hand from my throat, I'm losing air. It isn't working. I resort to hitting him.

The second I pull my hand back, I hear a pounding on the window behind me, then I feel something sharp pressing into my side.  My eyes widen.

A loud snap fills my ears, sharp. I feel the blade pierce my skin and I start to sob. Shards hit my back.

Winter broke the window.

It's silent, except for my cries. Eric's lips stay an inch from mine, but his eyes are on Winter. I can feel the tension. I feel Winter's eyes killing Eric a thousand times.

Eric  presses the blade against my stomach harder, making a sob escape my mouth.

"S-stop!" I see blood on my shirt, the circle slowly growing larger.

"Let her go," Winter's voice it throaty, taught, and rough.

Just then I feel a sharp stab of pain in in my abdomen.

I look down and he's no longer holding the knife. Instead  its handle is halfway lodged into my stomach, along with the blade.

I stare at it, silent. I take the two inches that is left of the handle and I feel wind on my back as the door swings open.

Winter take me by under my arms and pulls me onto the pavement, lying me on my back.

I hear him mutter some cuss words and I watch as he lunges into the front seat, fists flying at Eric. I watch as winters fists get redder. Eric's face gets redder. I look down. My body gets redder.

I hear a woman shreik, so shrill it hurts my ears. "Cassidy baby! Oh my god!" I see my dad run up next to me, I cringe at his touch.

"Get off of him! I hear my aunt yell, and the door to the car opens.

"Cassidy," my dad says. "Cassidy are you okay?"

I nod. "It doesn't hurt that bad," I gasp when GE touches the knife handle. "E-exceot w'when you d-do that!" I cry out in pain.

I see my dad's hurt eyes and I hear Winter's heavy breaths beside my ear. Magnified into a steady on-off-on-off windy sound, but it smells like Winter.

I see winters long fingers grab for the knife and he pulls it out in one thrust.

I scream, followed by a loud sob. "W-why would y-you do th-that!?" I yell at him.

He ignores my cry and presses his palm to the wound on my stomach.

I hear sirens. Two different sets.
