Chapter 4: Friday To Everyday Promise

•Keira's Point Of View•

I was partner by Shadow for our presentation today. I'm telling you, he is getting irritated everytime I ask him 'what is a planet?' 'How do you know the shape of it?' 'What is a solar system' and so on. I'm glad he explained everything before I finally understand everything. After we present our activity. I called him since he sit beside me "Hey Shadow?". He just sigh and ask "What do you want this time?" in a harsh tone. "Can you tell Maria that I won't be going with you two later after school? I need to go somewhere important..." I explained but he quickly fired "If your going to Lumineses then I won't allow you...". I just scoff and said "Shadow, I'm going with someone okay?! And don't worry, because someone I know is with me..."

I explain everything to my friends about where I'm going and they really want to come. I didn't let them because it's private so they nod in understanding. "But if something bad happens, tell it to us straightly. Understand darling?" Rarity reminded me.

When I was in the lunch room by myself, someone tapped me in my shoulder. I look beside me and thought it was Amy again but no...it was Sonic. "Hey K! Is this seat taken?" he ask with a smile. I shake my head and let him sit beside me. "So how was saving the city?" I started. "From a superhero to a super zero! He is acting nice so everyone can praise him but after that explosion, he retreat and think of another way to stop...He keep doing that like thousand times!" he said as he finish eating a chilidog. "I mean...he never beat me at all..." he added and it's his turn to ask "How about you? How was everything going with Amy and Sally?".

I just groan and told him everything what happen except the magic thing. "I finally felt how you feel when he was chasing you..." I jokingly said as I play with my noodles. "But yours is worse.I fight while you don't and that's what I call a problem..." he replied. "Also, next Monday. We have partnerings in Music. My mom will pick a partner and let us pick a song from the box she will wrote..." he explain as he look to me while I look to him confuse. "You know...songs like pop songs, love songs, sad songs, slow songs and more..." he added but I still look to him confuse.

"Whay do you mean by partnering? You mean a duet?" I ask and try to be more specific. He nod and said "It can be both girls, both boys, or a girl and a boy..." he explain while I blush as I imagine him being my partner. "Sure! I look forward to that activity! But I would rather do solo..." I complain and he agreed with me.

We talk the whole day and I was glad Amy was never in sight, but I still need to be careful. When Sonic told me about him fighting Eggman, I got interested and listen to it very carefully. He even made laugh when Eggman embarrass himself.

"So I said, hey eggster! Can't beat me with that big butt of yours?! Maybe you should go to the gym to become cool like me!"  he explain and I burst out laughing. "Good one! What did he said after that little joke?" I ask him and he chuckle "You have no idea. He said that at least he is not a blue rat like me when clearly, he keep saying that everytime I destroy his robot or kick his butt!".

"That sounds fun!" I told him "And I'm looking forward for another fight, but with you as well!!!" he said while my cheeks start burning again. Just then, the bell rings. Why does the bell have to ruin the fun. "That must be my next class! PE! My favorite! See 'ya around Keira!!!" he shouted as he wink at me before leaving the cafeteria leaving blue trails again. I felt myself dreaming about him again.

When school finish, Shadow was waiting for me since he bring Maria back home and ask Ms.Vanilla to guide her for him for a while. He show me the way to Lumineses while I follow him. We both end up near the dark woods so we both stopped. "That part is Lumineses...I'll get going then...I have to buy something for my friend too..." he explain before I say bye to him. He remind me that he will leave the door open for me so I just nod everytime I'm out. After he left, Sr. Solar appear beside me.
