CHAPTER 49
The house was more of an odd single story warehouse looking structure with double story wings on both sides. The inside was just as unexpected. The furnishings were modern and the colors were bright and bold. They were lead into a large open room. Music was blasting and people were dancing in wild abandon. Drinks and drugs were being shared while a thick layer of smoke hung heavily in the air stinging their eyes. Long covered benches lined the room with people either sitting or passed out on them. At the end of the room was a sitting area.
A large shirtless man sat in the middle of the couch facing the room at his side were two catty looking skimpily dressed blond women. The king was definitely sexy but he didn't make her heart race. As far as she was concerned he was just another face in the crowd. A stranger that had no effect on her though goodness knows he was trying as he came forward to kiss both girls on the back of the hand in a debonair manner. Both she and Carla remained indifferent. No one could compare to their mates.
"I don't know if you remember me," Jackson started.
"You were my bodyguard for a while when I was a child." Dameon said, "You saved my life on four different occasions. And now you've brought me the very lovely Protector." he said his voice turning husky as looked at Tracy.
^Dameon^
"Get over yourself! Jonathan is way sexier. Do I want to trace your abs with my tongue? No I do not." Tracy said sarcastically before realizing that everyone was looking at her strangely, "Oh crap!" she gasped her cheeks turning red, "Did I say that out loud?!"
"Yup and it's awkward for all of us." Reilly said with a grossed out expression, "Now I'm going to have to go home with that mental image every time I see my Alpha."
Burying her face in her hands she groaned before looking at Dameon, "Oh my gosh! If you're going to kill me, please do it quickly because I'm about to die from embarrassment and believe me it's way more painful."
Dameon burst out in a full blown laughter. Wiping away a few tears, he said, "You're not what I was expecting."
He returned to his seat and was immediately served an icy mug of cold beer by one blond while the other offered a blunt. He waved towards the other couches close by indicating that they should sit while he took a long drag from the rolled joint. Slowly releasing the toxic smoke into the air he asked if they would like anything. Tracy and the others quickly declined.
"So what brings you here?" he asked sitting back relaxed.
Tracy and the others decided that it would be best to leave out certain bits of information such as a young woman appearing in a vision telling them to come here.
