It's awkward to be
Next to you
Standing alone
Just us two
We laugh and we joke
We giggle and we play
But that now feels
Like yesterday
I can't help but feel
Uncomfortable
As if you would judge me
And give me a label
You would get stingy
And say rude things
That makes me want to cry
Your patience is tight like a string
I won't make excuses
I'll take the blame
'Cause I still treasure your smile
Even if you say tham I'm lame
No need to accuse me
I'll take the fault
For you, the friend that I need
But don't want
