Melody's POV

"So, Dad," I said, slinging myself into a chair in the lab.

"Yes, Melody?" He asked, keeping his eyes on his newest suit.

"I've noticed it's a little awkward for everyone living here..." I started. He put his tool down and turned his attention to me.

"And what do you propose we do about it?"

"Something normal people do. What about a movie night?" I suggested.

"A movie night? And what movie would we watch?"

"I dunno. Why don't we let everyone have a say? Make it a bonding exercise? I mean, we live with these people now, and you joined a superhero team without me so we should at least try to make it less awkward, don't you think?"

"You're not going to let that go, are you?" Dad asked.

"I wouldn't be me if I did," I answered and he smirked.

"That's my girl. Now, if you can persuade the other's into having a movie night then we'll have one, but you have to get all of them to agree to it."

"Next time, give me a challenge," I smirked, walking out of the room. First on my list was Bruce. I knew that if he wasn't in the lab already, then he'd be heading there soon. And I was right. Not even five minutes after I'd left the lab, Bruce was heading straight for it.

"Hey Bruce, I have a question for you," I smiled.

"Hi, Melody. What can I help you with?" He asked, a little shocked that I'd spoken to him.

"I'm thinking of putting a movie night together to make things a little less awkward between all of us and I was wondering if you'd be down to join?" I asked and he seemed to relax a bit.

"What would we watch?"

"I don't know yet. My hope is that we can all agree on one together."

"It sounds like fun. What time?"

"Say, 6 tonight?"

"I'll be there."

"Awesome. See you, Bruce," I grinned, walking off in search of my next victim. I found Nat and Clint in the kitchen, talking over coffee.

"Is this a grown-up conversation?" I asked, plopping down in one of the barstools.

"No," Nat said and I wasn't sure I believed her. Not that it mattered, I had the domestic question that was far more important to me.

"If you say so. But I have a question for the both of you. How does a movie night sound?"

"As in, all of us?" Nat asked, quirking an eyebrow.

"That's my hope, yeah. Things are really awkward and I'm hoping if we spend time together it'll be less weird."

"You really have a million different sides to you, don't you Melody Stark?" Clint asked.

"Just because I'm trained to kick ass doesn't mean I don't like living as a somewhat normal teenager. And I have a feeling we are going to all be together for a very long time. Might as well make it enjoyable," I explained and the Agents agreed to my idea. Three down, two to go.

I found Thor overlooking New York from one of the many balconies.

"It's different than what you're used to, isn't it?" I asked.

"Very much so. But it beautiful in its own way."

"I know what you mean. My mom lives in Transmonia and it's such a fantastical country with magic everywhere you look. And then I come back here and I'm amazed all over again at how something so mundane can be so extraordinary."
