Fourteen

I sat on the couch next to Liam and covered myself with a blanket. He grabbed himself a blanket and set the snacks between us. He grabbed the remote and turned the tv on.

"What do you want to watch?" He asks.
"Hmm what about Mile 22." He nods.
"Sounds good." He looks for it and finally finds it. He clicks the movie and we begin watching.

      Half way through the movie Killian comes in and asks for Liam. I pause the movie and they both look over at me. Never heard of being polite?

      "I'm going to need Liam for the rest of the night. You can continue watching." Killian informs.
      "I'll finish it when Liam can. We started the movie together so we'll finish it together." I shrug and stand up.
      "I won't be offended." Liam reassures.
     "I know, I just want to finish with you. It sucks to only watch half a movie." I then walk past them both and up the stairs.

      I make it to the bedroom and grab some pajamas. I go into the bathroom and turn the shower on. I strip out of my clothes as the shower warms up. I hop into the shower and begin washing myself. I start singing to some songs and dancing. Oh hi, yes I'll sign your autograph. I joke with myself and pretend to sign an autograph. Thank you New York! Goodnight. I then turn the shower off and stepped out. I dried myself off with the fluffy towel and put on the pajamas. I walked into the room to see Liam sitting on the bed. I jump.

      "Holy cow dude! You scared me." I laugh lightly.
      "Sorry, I just wanted to tell you that we can watch the movie now." He says with a small smile.
      "Really?! Yay!" I bolt for the theatre room and he runs after me. We laugh all the way there and get weird glances from Luke and Ray.
"How do you have so much energy at this time of night?" Liam asks walking up out of breath.
"I'm excited." He just laughs.
"Get comfy I'll turn the lights off." I listen and go to the couch. I lay down and cover myself in the blanket. Then it hits me, Killian said he'd need Liam for the rest of the night.
"I thought Killian needed you for the rest of the night?" I question.
"Yea, me too. Something came up though." I nod. He plops beside me and starts the tv.

He turns the movie back on and we continue watching it. Once the movie ends I yawn and head for bed. Liam walked off to his room and I shut my door. I crawled into the bed and just laid there looking at the ceiling. I hear voices occasionally here and there but can't figure out whose they are. The front door opens and closes then the house is quiet. Who left? I shrug it off and lay there.

I can't seem to fall asleep. I'm tired but that doesn't help. I can't sleep. So much is going through my head. My family, my pets, my friends, everyone. I miss everyone. I miss watching YouTube before bed. I miss my life.

About an hour later I'm still staring up at the ceiling. I decide to go to Liam. I've memorized where everyone's rooms are. I walk up to Liam's door and knock. No one answers so I knock again. Still no answer. I slowly open the door and see the room is completely empty. Even the bathroom is empty. Where is he? I sigh and start to go back to my room. I then think about Ethan. I turn around and head to his room. I knock on the door and within seconds it's opened. How does he do that? He gives a questioning look.

"I can't sleep." I admit. He nods and motions for me to come in.

He pats his bed and I sit down on it. He grabs a notepad and writes on it. 'I need to shower, you get comfy' I nod and he walks to his bathroom. I get under the covers and sigh. I hope I'm not too much of a bother. Wait, no. They kidnapped me. I don't care if I'm a bother. I'll be as annoying as I want. I get a mischievous smile. I yawn and close my eyes.

I hear the bathroom door open and a few footsteps. The bed dips as Ethan gets in and then all is still. I drift off feeling safe. Who would have thought I'd feel this safe.

I'm awoken by a small shake. I open my eyes to reveal Ethan standing above me completely dressed and ready to go. I sit up and look around trying to remember where I was. Oh. I smile at Ethan.

"Thanks." He nods and walks out of his room. I get up and quickly go to the room I'm staying in.

I grab some clothes and change. I brush my hair then head downstairs to get some food. I walk into the kitchen to see Ethan is there eating bacon, and Liam is eating a slice of pizza.

"Morning Jessie." Liam greets.
"Morning." I greet back. I walk into the pantry and grab some Nutella and a slice of bread. I begin making myself some Nutella toast.

      I eat my breakfast and head upstairs. After about an hour of chilling in the bedroom Killian walked in.

      "Ever heard of knocking?" I ask sarcastically. He rolls his eyes.
      "We all have to go somewhere. Liam is going to stay here with you." I nod and sigh. He just walks out and down the stairs. I hear everyone leave. Not soon after there's a knock at the door. At least someone knows how to knock.
      "Yes?" I call from inside. The door opens and I see Liam a standing there.
      "Do you want to play video games?" He asks. I nod eagerly.

We walk downstairs and to the living room. He turns the tv on and then the Xbox. I look through the games they have and see Minecraft. I click on it and start a new world. Liam sits down next to me and we play Minecraft. After about an hour we've built cool houses and have found diamond. I hear Liam's phone ring and he glances down at it.

"I have to take this, I'll be back." I nod and he walks out back.

I continue building the big barn I'm making for my horses when there's a knock at the door. I debate on answering but then go anyway. When I open the door there is a VERY nervous looking Daniel. He has a LOT of explaining to do.

"Uh, hey Daniel?" I more question.
"Jessie? I uh, I need to talk with Killian. I have to explain myself." He quickly states.
"He's not home." I inform. I hear the back door open.
"Jessie? What are you doing at the front door?" Liam asks walking up to me. I step out of the way.
"Daniel? What are you doing here?" He sounds almost hurt.
"I want to explain myself please." He pleads.
"Killian isn't here." Liam says bluntly. He closes the door in Daniel's face and stomps to the couch. I follow behind him slowly.

"Liam, dont you think that was a bit harsh?" I ask gently sitting next to him.
"Harsh? No. He betrayed us. He was helping the other gang get you Jessie. According to our rules I should have killed him." I gasped. Liam looked up at me. He looked sad.
"He was my friend. Him and I were really close. It's hard knowing that my best friend would do that." I grab him in a hug. He hugs back tightly.
"Shouldn't you let him explain himself?"
"It's not me he has to explain himself to." I sigh, knowing what he means.
