"Mina it's nice to see you, it's been so long sweetie~"

My mother. The anxiety piled up even though it was my wedding. I looked for Chaeyoung she was busy talking to jeongyeon. "Your father is here Mina."

I know he still didn't agree with what I was doing. He'd try to stop me from marrying Chaeyoung. "I don't want to see him."

"Mina~" Chaeyoungs Hand went on my shoulder. My mother bowed to Chaeyoung and smiled. "It's nice to see you again."

"You too. I'm glad you could come see the wedding. I'll forever thank you for stopping him from holding her" Chaeyoung told me the story. I cried for a while about it. The way my mother finally understood that all I wanted was to be free and live happy with Chaeyoung.

"As long as Mina is happy. I still haven't apologized fully for agreeing with your father all these years Mina, I hope after you will talk to him. I'm sure he has a lot to say"

CHAEYOUNG

Minas father was always a hard subject to talk about after everything. He had attempted to call several times but Mina refused to answer and I agreed with her. Now he was here to watch her get married. I was afraid that something may happen but I would stand up for Mina no matter what like I always have.

It was getting close to the time where we needed to put on are dresses and not see each other until the wedding. I couldn't believe that I was getting married.  Me and Mina decided when we got the ring to wait it out and honestly that was the best thing we could've did.

I spent many days alone with just Mina. Everyday was a new adventure that made me feel special. She was my soul mate. I felt free around her. Whenever she was around my life was good and hers was to. Waking up to a gummy smile took some time to get used to but every morning my heart would melt more and more.

"Chaeyoung. I have to go soon" Mina walked up to me and smiled. She was all fidgety today.
"Really? I'm so nervous, I need you around to calm my soul"

"I heard they had some strawberries in the other room that should keep you calm" I laughed and stood up. She pouted and sighed.
"I think your father will be proud. I'll make sure he is"

"What if.."

"If he really thought about coming for you then you'd already be there but he let you stay with me so something even if it's a little thing at least changed in his heart"

"I hope your right...it should be him bringing me down the aisle not your dad"

"Do you really feel like having him bring you down?"

"I just...it would feel wrong if he didn't but at the same time I wanna show that I have a new life without him" I looked at the time.

"I'll figure something out. Ok"

"But—" I hugged her so her thoughts could stop. "Just trust me"

"Ok. I have to go. I love you~"

"I love you perfume girl~"

I finally found him.

He still looked the same with his sharp looking suit and his stubble face. Memories flashed back in my mind. The struggles we went through to be together.

I walked right up to him. He stopped his phone call and looked at me.

"Chaeyoung"

I gave him a slight smile. "Uh..Mina wanted for you to walk her down the aisle with my father"

"Really? She wanted that" he looked surprised.

"Yes she was afraid to ask you herself I'm sorry for that" his hand patted my shoulder.
"Thank you. Do you know where she is?"

"Down the hall in the last room."

"Ok. Nervous?"

"Yes very"

"I felt the same way on my wedding day. That was the best day of my life..."

"I'm sure it was. Thank you again for letting Mina go..."

"I really didn't think she'd fight that much but here we are I'm staring at her future wife. I didn't think this would happen"

"Well..it is. I better get going now" I walked away.

"Thank you Chaeyoung!"

I turned back to see an genuine smile on his face.

"Thank you for taking care of her."
