Byleth looked at her father as the two made there way towards Almyra. Byleth was riding on her own horse right behind her father. "Father when do we break for camp?" Byleth looked at her father with her same stoic face. Her father let out a huge sigh forgetting that his daughter was still a child at only twelve years old. "We will look for an as soon as we get to Deridru, and once we get to Deridru we will travel on a boat that will lead us to Almyra because for some reason it is the only way to get to Almyra right now." Jeralt looked at his tired kid. He kept having to remind himself that she was only twelve, and could not travel as far as he can luckily they were both on horseback so it was not long before they made it to Deridru. There mercenary company was not far behind them, and they managed to keep up pretty good. He found a very nice tavern that was fairly cheap, and rented a room for the night. Byleth, and Jeralt's next mission was to go to Almyra, and guard the Prince. Well Byleth was going to be the one guarding the prince while her father was going to be the one that escorted the King of Almyra on his hunt.
Jeralt, and Byleth along with the rest of the mercenaries, woke up early, and had their bath's before they boarded the ship headed to Almyra. Byleth had never been aboard a ship before, and she was so excited. Byleth wondered what the prince was like, and wondered if the prince would like her. She sighed some. She knew the ship would be landing in one of the Harbor Cities of Almyra, and sighed some. "Father what kind of mission will we be on?" Byleth was very curious because her father had said he would be accompanying the King on the hunt but she had no clue what her duties would be. "Your duties will be to make sure that the prince stays safe, and my is to make sure that the King stays safe." Jeralt sighed some as he looked at his daughter for a moment. "Alright thanks father I wander if the prince would like me." Byleth sighed. "I am pretty sure the prince will take a liking to you kiddo." Jeralt smiled as he ran his fingers through his sandy brown hair, and looked at his daughter. Her purple bluish eyes looked into his own brown eyes, and she was actually smiling for once. Maybe this trip will be a good thing for her. Maybe his daughter will finally start to show emotions now. He saw how much this hurt her when they called her the Ashen Demon, and how it hurt her not to have any friends. He sighed as he picked up a brush, and brushed her long teal blue hair, and smiled. He braided it today she insisted on keeping it long so he decided to braid it instead. Her smile was even brighter when the ship that they were on made land fall, and docked at the docks. They got off the docks, and made there way towards a group of wyvern riders. One of them was an older man with a scar on his face that reminded Byleth of Jeralt. The older man smiled. "Greetings from the palace my name is General Nader the undefeated, and I will be escorting you to the royal Palace." Nader smiled brightly. "Thanks lead us to the palace." Jeralt made sure Byleth was right behind him. Byleth had her luggage, and smiled. "Alright this way." Nader said smiling somemore, and seeing how beautiful Byleth was, and he knew right off the spot that Prince Claude was going to become fast friends with Byleth. He looked at the mercenary company, and pointed to the wyverns that the group was going to be riding. Some of the men complained, and some of the men were excited. Byelth herself was excited about riding on her very own wyvern it reminded her of her own wyvern that she had named Daisy. Daisy was a very rare color for Fodlan. Daisy was a beautiful golden color. She hoped that Daisy was being well fed while she was gone. She loves Daisy, and had wished she could have rode on Daisy but she was told not to ride Daisy, and she was sad to leave Daisy alone. But this trip was only going to be not that long, and she was going to get to see Daisy soon.
They had finally made it to the palace, and Byleth was amazed how big the palace was. She was in awe of it all. A boy with emerald green eyes, and short dark brown curly short hair stood beside a man with the same hair color but his skin was darker than the boy's skin whom was tanned, and his father's eyes were dark brown. She heard that the King was Married to a noble woman from Fodlan. Duke Riegan's daughter named Felicity whom decided to leave Fodlan for good, and her title behind to marry for love. She admired that story. Queen Felicity looked very strong standing right beside her husband King Ekrem. She was wearing her armor, and was holding a bow in her hands, and had her long blonde hair pulled back into a pony tail. She was very beautiful, and strong looking. She wandered if she took after her own mother. She could tell where the boy got his eyes from. The boy looked over at her very excitingly, and ran over to where Byleth stood. He was about two years younger than she was, and he spoke first. "Oh wow I am so excited to become friends with you I have had friends before!" The boy said to her. "I really want to be friends with you too." Byleth's eyes lit up at the prospect of becoming friends with this boy. Felicity smiled as she looked at her son, and then back at Byleth. "Jeralt it has been awhile since I last saw you , and Byleth has really grown into a lovely girl she looks just like Sherrie." Queen Felicity spoke first. She looked at her father, and then back at Byleth. "Yes Felicity it has been awhile, and I agree she does look like her mother." Jeralt looked sad. "I heard what happened to her while I was attending the officers Academy she died giving birth to Byleth is what that foolish woman said." Queen Felicity hated Archbishop Rhea. She blamed her for her own friends death. Sherrie was kind to everyone that she met. Sherrie had believed that people deserved to lead there own lives, and that she should follow her heart, and dreams. King Ekrem had attended the officers Academy pretending to be from Brigid, and was at the academy to learn it's secrets when she fell in love with him. It was after she graduated that she left Duke Frederick von Riegan behind, and her own older brother Duke Reese behind. She was eighteen at the time, and she had Claude two years after Sherrie had Byleth. "Thanks Felicity if you will excuse me I will take my leave, and prepare my men for the hunting trip." Jeralt left Byleth with Claude, and Felicity. "You knew my mother Queen Felicity?" Byleth looked at her very curiously. Felicity nodded. "You look just like her." Queen Felicity nodded. "Wow I cannot believe that you knew my mother please tell me what she was like father never tells me anything about her, or his own family." Byleth frowned. Claude had taken ahold of her hand. "Yes well maybe at another time for now I think Claude really wants to show you something." Queen Felicity looked at her son with a frown. "Alright well Claude I have not formerly introduced myself yet so my name is Byleth Eisner it is a pleasure to finally meet you." Byleth bowed in respect for the Almyran Prince. Claude grinned wide. "Byleth you do not have to bow to me come on I want to show you something!" Claude spoke very excitingly. Byleth smiled. "Ok, and Queen Felicity I really want to know more about my mother if you ever get a chance to tell me." Byleth waved goodbye to Queen Felicity. And Queen Felicity smiled, and waved goodbye back. "I will I promise you." Queen Felicity watched her son grab Byelth's hand, and took her out to the stables where the Wyverns were at.
