It was Claude's birthday, and Byleth took out her gifts to Claude. She set up her tea pot set, and she began to boil the water. She hummed some. Claude was still asleep in the bed that they had decided to start sharing. It was so cute. Byleth was blushing some more. She has taken quite the liking to Claude, and she wants to protect him from this Assassin group that keeps coming for Claude. And then maybe she could return to Fodlan. Perhaps when Claude is ready to go to house Riegan. She smiled some. She finished boiling the Almyran pine needle tea, and it awoke Claude. "Happy birthday Claude!" Byleth smiled as Claude woke up, and yawned, and finally stretched out. He got up, and smiled wide. "Thank you Byleth, and I am so happy that you fixed my favorite tea!" Claude was so excited. "Your welcome Claude I also got you something else!" Byleth smiled as she was wearing the earrings that she had bought. And she handed him the blue box, and he opened up the earring. "Wow Byleth this is so pretty!" Claude put in the gold earring, and then smiled widely. "Your welcome Claude." Byleth enjoyed watching Claude's reaction, and she put in the earrings she got herself. The day before she had someone pierced her ears for the first time. Claude already had a piercing. And she hoped Claude had noticed her ears. Claude looked over at Byleth. "Byleth your earrings look so beautiful in your ears." Claude blushed some more. Byleth even blushed more. They drank there tea, and smiled. Later that day they were going to be celebrating his birthday by having a grand feast, and he was so excited about it. Especially sharing it with his first crush. "Claude thank you, and I hope you like what I got you because I could not think about what to get you." Byleth looked into Claude's eyes, and was so happy to see him happy. She wanted to stay here forever, and wanted to stay here, and protect Claude's happiness, and to protect Claude. Claude smiled. "Byleth I hope you stick around long enough for your birthday because I got you something too." Claude blushed some when he saw Byleth Blushing. "Thank you Claude I will try to stick it out until my thirteenth birthday." Byleth smiled when she looked at Claude. She wanted to stay here forever but she knew in her heart that she could not stay forever. One day she would have to leave, and return to Fodlan. She decided that when she did return to Fodlan she could serve for House Riegan in the Leicister Alliance. She Also decided that when she did leave, she was going to leave after her birthday. She wanted to learn more about the Church of Seiros, and learn who this Lady Rhea person is, and she wanted to solve the mystery of her birth, and what really happened to her mother named Sitri. She sighed.

Claude's birthday was fun. They had a lot of different fruits, meats, and vegetables. They danced, and she joined Claude in the dances. She enjoyed Claude's company. She wandered though about those strange clones. And when she had also noticed those strange masked mages seeking the clones after her. She wanted Claude to be safe, and she needed answers before she returned to Fodlan. The Leicister Alliance was where she was headed to next. She wanted to serve him. Duke Riegan was always nice to her. They had a lot of mercenary work for Duke Riegan. One time her father was called to do work in Sauin Village, and help stop the thieves from ruining there lives. So since it was very dangerous he had left her to spend the month with Duke Riegan whom treated her like she was his own grandchild. He had once told her about his son, and how he had lost him in a wagon accident, and how he has a daughter but she chose her own path, and married a guy from a foreign country, and how proud he was of her, and that she had a son of her own that was about her age. She was five when she met him. "Claude I am getting tired I am going to head to bed." Byleth yawned some. Claude looked at Byleth, and sighed. "Alright I am getting sleepy myself." Byleth nodded, and they made their way towards the palace, and they were surrounded by men wearing black robes, and weird masks. She knew that she had to keep Claude safe. She loved Claude, and Claude was her only friend she has ever made, and she wanted to keep him safe. She felt maybe more feelings for him than she wanted to admit. She got her sword out, and prepared for a battle.
