Todays image of "beauty" is not what beauty means at all.

Society makes you think that being beautiful is having that clear, perfect skin. Being so underweight that you have to be in a hospital. That you have to be a size 0. That you have to have perfect hair. That you have to have big boobs. That you have to have abs/muscles. That you have to have the perfect height.

That's when we have to take a step back and think, "what about what's on the inside?" People forget that cliché quote, 'It's what's on the inside that counts'.
Beauty is on the inside, not on the outside. Beauty is in the heart of a person.
Someone doesn't have to be 70 pounds, have abs, perfect hair, or anything like that to be beautiful.

How do you think eating disorders/self harm/bullying/etc started? Becuase of society. Society made us think that being perfect and being popular is what you have to be. That girls HAVE to be under 90 pounds to get a boy/girlfriend. That guys HAVE to have muscles to get a boy/girlfriend. When did this become true? It never has become true; it's just what we've been told to believe. It isn't true.

How do you feel when you hear about young girls with eating disorders because society makes them think that they have to be stick thin? How do you feel when you hear about young guys trying to get as muscular as possible because society makes them think they have to be that way? It's sickening what society makes us think.

Being beautiful means having a heart. Being a kind person. Helping people when they need help. Standing up for people. Being a shoulder to cry on. Stuff like that is what makes you a beautiful person. You have to be true to who you are, always.

We all have our flaws; why not embrace them? Our flaws make us who we are and we are all unique in our own ways. We have to learn to accept that everybody has flaws. Everybody is different from one another; we were made that way.

Forget about society's image of "beautiful" and be your own person.

If you're overweight/underweight? You're beautiful.
If you have big/small boobs? You're beautiful.
If you have muscle/fat? You're beautiful.
If you have thick/thin thighs? You're beautiful.
If you have clear/acne filled skin? You're beautiful.
If you have scars/no scars? You're beautiful.
If you have bushy/thin eyebrows? You're beautiful.
If you're black/white? You're beautiful.
If you're tall/short? You're beautiful.

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.
You are beautiful just the way you are <3
