The week has passed rather slowly and Izuku was beginning to regret his choices. He would only be able to see Katsuki in the morning for a few minutes before he would have to leave, then when he had to go to his classes, Katsuki would come home around the same time. And he didn't know the other's schedule! The green-haired male sighed loudly as he rested on the couch, lifting a 50lbs weight.

One he got from a dear friend who has passed away recently.

Ever since Katsuki came to live with him, Izuku felt his crush on the champagne-haired adult grow every day. It was utter agony. The antagonizing words were funny at first but now it feels like the guy was testing him. They had been running low on groceries and Izuku went out to grab some--when he came back, Katsuki was sitting in a cute pose on the couch with pout crossing his features. And I quote,

"What took you so long to get home, dumbass...the food is cold."

Izuku almost caved in right then and there.

Izuku sighed, seemingly tired as he stared at the tv with evident displeasure. He was bored, Saturdays were always long and exciting but today was Sunday, a day that Izuku shared more hate for than a hazy Monday afternoon in the summer. The green-haired adult was snuggled up in a fuzzy dark blanket, adoring a black turtle-neck sweater and a pair of black athletic leggings that hugged up against his thighs and small waist due to exercising constantly. Izuku furrowed his brows together tightly as his lips pursed into a gentle pout, his freckled cheeks that cast onto his shoulders and all around his body.

Katsuki once said--when they were kids, that Izuku's freckles were adorable. Izuku doubts that Katsuki still thinks the same as he did beforehand but it was still nice to think about. He began to wonder how Katsuki was doing----

======

"This shit is fucking stupid." Katsuki was bothered. He was having a fit over something he had to make for dinner, he had some break time leftover in his long hour classes since he had finished everything in other classes with ease. After all, Katsuki was one of the smartest people in the entire school--close to Izuku and Shouto although.

Katsuki's mind began to wonder and let his imagination roam free, 20 minutes passed by rather shortly, as the male was in a complete daze he did not hear the person beside him call out to him.

"Bakugou..." again, Katsuki did not hear him. The red-head beside him frowned deeply, his friend would usually answer him right away but this was his fifth-time calling the man's name. Then he got an idea.

"I didn't know Midoriya had a girlfriend!" Eijiro's voice felt fake surprise and amazement as he tried to keep himself together. Katsuki immediately turned his head to face the red-head with horror written all over his face.

Eijiro almost lost it.

"WHAT?!" some students who had been chatting with each other, turned to look at the two. Eijiro bursts out laughing, snorting occasionally and then proceeding to laugh even more because of it. Katsuki was brighter than red chilly pepper, his face light up in embarrassment.

"Shut up!!" Katsuki smacked the red-head repeatedly. Embarrassed was an understatement, he was humiliated, completely and utterly humiliated. His face burned and his ears felt like they were boiling. The students who had been staring at them looked away and continued their conversation, laughing to themselves occasionally.

"Bakugou!!" A woman shouted Katsuki turned to look at who had called his name, face still red. His eyes narrowed at the sight of the frail girl from high school. The one that hung around Izuku all the time.

"What do you want fat cheeks?" he spat. It was more demanding for answers than a simple question. Ochako huffed, "Deku wants to talk to you! I'm on the phone with him now--Woah!" Ochako was slightly overwhelmed when Katsuki snatched the phone away before she could even finish, stepping out into the hallway for more privacy.

Ochako shot a questioning glare toward Eijiro who shrugged in response.

Katsuki's heart pounded against his ribs, heat pooling in his stomach, he was excited. He wanted--no, yearned to hear Izuku's voice right now. Katsuki wanted to deny his feelings and the teasing he had done to Izuku this past week.

"Kacchan?"

Katsuki smiled, he felt refreshed.

"Why the hell did you want to talk to me?" Katsuki seethed through his teeth, he didn't want it to show that he was happy to hear him talk.

"O-oh! Right, I'm, uh, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out later? I don't have any classes this afternoon and I thought that you would want to go somewhere to eat rather than stay home--" Katsuki interrupted Izuku's rambling with a short sigh.

"Yes, I would like to go with you somewhere." Katsuki let another smile cross his expression. Unaware of his friends staring at him in surprise.

He could practically see the smile that Izuku was wearing on his goofy face, his cheeks would probably be a little rosy, his nose scrunched up slightly, his eyes crinkled as a wide smile would be plastered from ear to ear.

Katsuki felt as if he was in heaven. He was blissfully blind to the amount of eyed on him.

The two talked for a few more minutes before sharing their goodbyes, Katsuki chuckled softly and turned around to enter the classroom once again but he was faced with over half the class at the door with wide eyes and their mouths gaping open.

"Bakugou smiled!"

"He was laughing!--It wasn't scary at all!!"

"Katsuki has a girlfriend!"

"A DATE?! YOU HAVE A DATE??!"

Katsuki quickly grew irritated, his eye twitching in annoyance.

"SHUT THE HELL UP!!"

Everyone was quiet, their eyes still wide. Katsuki thought they were crazy, insane even. But one student shakily raised their hand to point behind him, some of the girls who had been fawning over him at the beginning of the school year we're gushing and drooling about the person behind him.

He frowned deeper than before, turning around only to have his nose-bump into a hard chest. His eyebrows furrowed, eyes narrowing but he recognized the musky wood and spice scent that wafted off of the person in front of him, the tangy orange zesty chocolate that made his mouth water.

"Deku?" he glanced up, sure enough, the green-haired teen was in front of him with wide eyes and a white plastic bag in his hand. He had his phone in his scarred hand.

"Did I come at a bad time? I told Uraraka to tell you that I was on my way, you forgot your lunch at home so I came to deliver it to you, Kacchan." Izumi ignored the students around them and smiled down at the shorter adult. Katsuki shot a glare in Ochako's direction, the brown-haired girl raised her arms in defense.

"Before you yell at me!" Ochako paused and peeked through squinted eyes to see Izuku holding Katsuki back with his arms under the shorter's armpits keeping him in place while he struggled to getaway.

He smiled apologetically with a gentle sigh as he guided the man out of the room.

Katsuki's classmates stared in bewilderment.

What just happened?!
