The Kitchen

A few months later, I still can believe that I've been coming back several times to this place. Every time I have a day off, or some nights when I'm in town and really need someone to talk to. I'll knock on the door to Summer's apartment. Until one day, after I impulsively came to her in the middle of the night, she gave me the code to her apartment.
"Next time you come, you don't have to knock anymore. You can come anytime you want. This is ours now."
I don't know how, but I think that's when we make it official. We never really talk about our relationship. What are we to each other. Summer never brings it up. And I don't want to make it complicated.
Nobody knows about us.
It's like when we stepped into this apartment, everything is in its own universe. A different dimension, where I become just Harry Styles. Not THE Harry Styles, nor Harry from One Direction. She never plays my music whenever I'm around. It's not that she hates it.

She's actually a fan of my music.
There's a funny story in how I found it. So, one day, I wanted to surprise her. I came here when she's still outside. I was unpacking my bag, putting some clothes in here so I don't have to bring any whenever I come. That was actually the first time I looked into her wardrobe.
Everything seems normal until I found a huge box, and there's all of my CD, The vinyls everything. I event found so many One Direction's merchandise inside. And of course, she came home and saw me looking through her stuff. Summer's face turned red right away. The very first time I saw her blushing.

I was making dinner when I hear the door open. And there she is, my favorite creature I've been waiting for. She looks tired and rather sad. I don't really know about herself. What she's doing for living and other facts about her, it's not that I never asked her about it. It's just that she only talks a little. But I'm always fine with that.

Summer puts her stuff in the closet and comes to me right away.

"Hi." She said, with a very soft voice.
"Good evening, how's your day?" I replied. Instead of answer, I got a hug from behind me.
"Summer, I'm cooking," I said chuckling.
"Can we please stay like this for a while. I really need you."

I turn to face her and hug her dearly. It's like it's been a while we didn't hug like this. A hug that matters that both of us want it. Not just me or her. We both want this. She lay her lips on the crook of my neck, giving it a little peck so soft. I did the same, I kiss her cheek, giving it a little peck that matters. A peck of showing love. And we both feel loved.

She let go of the hug and I suddenly feel empty, like something has been stealing away from me. Her warm and a little bit of myself have been missing from me.

"I wanna take a bath," she said.
"Alright love, I'll call you when dinner's ready," I said giving her another peck on the lips. That was our first kiss. On the lips.
