Grace started walking to the park when she heard a car behind her, it was a red super car. It stopped next to her and rolled down the window. It was Payton. 'holy shit this is happening' she thought to herself
"Hey Grace, fancy seeing you here" he said while laughing, "Hop in"
"Aha okay, you're not gonna kidnap me are you?" She said while giggling, ew, she never giggles, this boy just made her giggle.
She got in the car and he drove off.
"So do you wanna go to the skate park or maybe somewhere more interesting?" He said, keeping his eyes on the road.
"I don't mind" Grace replied
"How about we go to target? They've got sales on" He smiled
"Yessssss, maybe we can get some snacks and go to the movies or something" She said excitedly
"Sure, only if you let me pay for your ticket" He smirked but kept his eyes on the road.
Grace thought about this for a while, should she let this boy, who she met 30 minutes ago, pay for her ticket to the movies, i mean it would be cute but still, she doesn't wanna seem like a gold digger...
"Are you done thinking yet" Payton says while laughing, they were in the Target car park and he was looking at her.
"Yeah i'll let you pay for my ticket, IF you let me pay for the snacks" She said, coming to a decision.
"Fine but not all of them" He said back, still looking at her
"Deal" she said and stuck her hand out for him to shake. He looked at it and laughed but shook it anyway.
They got out of the car and started walking to Target when Grace felt a hand brush past hers, she looked at Payton and he looked nervous, she decided to be brave and intertwined their fingers so they were holding hands. He looked down and the biggest smile came over his face. He looked at Grace. She looked back up at him and their eyes met. Suddenly a car horn beeped at them and they jumped and ran onto the path.
"WAY TO RUIN OUR MOMENT" Payton shouted at the car, Grace burst into a fit of laughter and sat cross legged on the floor with her head in her lap, she felt him sit next to her and his hand slipped onto her leg and he was laughing too.
"Come on let's go into the shop, we can't stay out here laughing forever" He said as he got up again and offered his hand to Grace. She took it and smiled at him. 'I really wanna kiss him right now' she thought to herself. As they walked into target they saw all of the candy and chips and slushies!!!
"Why don't we get snacks here and go to seven eleven for slushies?" Payton said while looking at the different candies.
"Yeahhh!!!!" Grace shouted, earning some dirty  looks from people in the aisle.
They both looked at each other and laughed again.
Payton pulled her close and she felt soft lips on her forehead, then her cheek and before he did anything else he looked at her as if to say "is this ok" and she nodded and he kissed her gently on the lips. She kissed back but not too forcefully and they pulled away.
Both teenagers blushed and grabbed the snacks they wanted, paid and walked out of the store.
