graces pov:

after the party finished, payton and i decided to just go to bed and clean the house tomorrow. i suggested a cleaning party with music and takeaway and he said it was a good idea so we were inviting the group who played truth or dare with us. i still hadn't asked why payton said me and him were a couple but i'm sure i'll bring it up later.

"bubba it's 2am, come get into bed" i heard payton say from the bedroom.
"ok coming!" i replied, walking into the bedroom and plopping myself onto the bed, i was exhausted.
"do you regret throwing the party" he asked
"ahaha no way, i got to spend time with the people i love whilst drinking and having fun! do you regret it?" i asked back
"i mean i got a great show" he said looking me up and down, seeing as i hadn't bothered to put clothes on "and like you said, we were all having fun together" he said laying on the bed next to me.
"payton?" i asked
"yeah bubs" he replied, rolling over to look at me
"how comes you told everyone we were a couple?" i said
"well firstly i didn't want anyone to kiss or think they could have you, and second i want us to be a couple" he said, still looking into my eyes
"what are you trying to say moormeier?" i smirked
"grace, will you be my girlfriend" he asked, sitting up but not breaking eye contact
"yes" i answered in a simple way
"wait really" he looked surprised
"yes" i answered again
"you make me so happy princess" payton said smiling his goofy smile which i loves so much.
"and you make me happy too bubba" i said back.

i didn't bother getting changed i just slipped under the covers and curled up next to payton and fell asleep.

The next morning
I woke up and went to reach for payton but my hand hit cold sheets. what time was it? 10:30am. hmmm not that bad i guess. i got out of bed and decided to shower before having breakfast. once i had showered and put my hair in a towel i walked downstairs confused as to where my boyfriend had disappeared too. then the smell of bacon and pancakes hit me. it smelt so good wow.

"i got a message of my mom this morning" he said keeping his eyes on the food
"really what did she say?" i asked
"she said she put a couple thousand dollars in my bank and scheduled food delivery every two weeks so we don't have to live off of fast food"
"ah right sounds great"

he handed me a plate of bacon pancakes with a smile
"there you go girlfriend" he grinned even more
"thankyou boyfriend" i smiled back
