In the locker room Velma and Daphne were in deep conversation. Velma threw her gym shoes in her locker and turned around. It's as if she saw it in slow motion. Two of the Heathers walked up to Daphne.
"Hey!" One of them said in a fake voice and a cheesy plastered on smile.
"Um hi." Daphne said glancing at Velma. Velma acted like she wasn't listening and focused down at her phone.
"So sorry about Heather , she doesn't know what she's saying half of the time." The other one, Heather A said.
"Oh it's fine as long as you all don't talk about my friends like that ever again." Daphne replies.
"We won't." Heather D quickly said.
"Let us make it up to you." Heather A pleaded. "Come sit with us at lunch."
Velma looked up to see Daphne's reaction. Daphne looked surprised.
"Is that ok?" Velma realized Daphne was asking her.
Of course not, she didn't want Daphne to sit with those plastic barbies. Daphne was too good for them. But Daphne looked happy, if she said no to Daphne would Daphne resent Velma?
"Yeah it's totally fine." Velma said cursing herself.
"Um ok then." Daphne said to the Heathers. The Heathers walked away excited and giggling.
Daphne walked up to Velma.
"You sure it's ok?" Daphne asked Velma with a concerned look on her face.
"Of course it's only one lunch." Velma reassured Daphne. Right?
