The Colored Eyes

"Good morning sunshine," I heard a familiar voice say as my eyes fluttered open.

"Hi Fred," I said smiling as I sat up. I looked over to where Alissa was the night before, but she wasn't there now. "Where did Alissa go?" 

"I honestly have no idea, she was there last night when I left, and when I got here she wasn't maybe she left earlier this morning or something?" he said. This concerned me because of our talk last night,  and I figured she was probably just slutting herself up to try to impress Fred or planning someway to sabotage me. 

"Oh well okay," I said quietly. 

"So are you ready to go get ready, then head down to breakfast?" He asked happily as he stood up and  held out his hand for me to take. I reached out for it and he pulled me up out of the bed, and he didn't let go, so neither did I. When we got to the Ravenclaw door the eagle knocker asked a riddle "What is the beginning of eternity, The end of time and space, The beginning of every end And the end of every race?"  

Fred stared at me confused while I thought, "The letter E." I finally said after thinking for a while.

"How did you get that?" Fred asked as we walked into the common room. Surprisingly no one was in there. 

"I'm a Ravenclaw, its what I do," I smiled and stopped in front of the dormitory door. "I'll be out in a few minutes." I said looking at him. 

"Okay," he replied as he went to go sit on the couch. 

I walked upstairs and noticed that the bathroom door was shut and Alissa's things were out on her bed. I just walked over to my trunk and got out clothes and started to change. I didn't notice Alissa come out and walk over to my bed. 

"You won't be needing this," she said as she snatched my wand and started to run out the door. I got up and started chasing her. I hadn't even realized that I hadn't put my shirt on, I just had it in my hand. She ran to the common room and stopped when she saw Fred 

"Hi Fred," she said as she waved at him.

I ran into the common room to see Alissa waving at Fred. FRED. OHMYGOD. He was staring at me. I had frozen up. I didn't know what to do, then I realize I was being stupid and needed to put my shirt on. I hurriedly put it on and saw Alissa staring at me and she looked over at Fred and said, "What a skank." He just glared at her as I ran back to the dormitory.

I could feel the tears in my eyes. I had to get out of here, but how? I looked into the mirror to see that my cheeks were bright red, and my teary eyes had swirled into white, blue, and purple, except for my pupils, and that my skin was becoming transparent. I didn't know what to do, I started freaking out and before I knew it they only thing you could see of me were my swirled eyes, I let out a small scream. Then I thought for a second, This could work, I can sneak out of here and nobody would notice. Is breakfast even going still? I checked the time. Yes. Good. Now I can talk to Tessa. Then my thoughts were inerrupted by someone yelling, I couldn't make out what the voice was quite saying though. I felt a tear run down my invisible face and saw it drop to the ground. Soon I realized I had stopped crying and looked up in the mirror and saw myself. I SAW MYSELF. That meant I wasn't invisible anymore and I would actually have to deal with them. 

"Uggh," I groaned. I put the rest of my uniform on, gathered my books, and started to head down the stairs, but when I got to the bottom I stopped to listen as I peaked around the corner. Fred was facing away from me and Alissa was facing me, but looking at Fred. 

"So you did that just so you could get alone with me?" Fred said sounding extremely confused. 

"Yes," Alissa said quietly as she bit her lip. I just rolled my eyes. 

"Uh why?" He said sounding annoyed. Alissa's eyes met with mine for like a split second and that was enough time for her to glare at me and an evil grin without Fred noticing. 

"So I could do this," She said as she leaned up , and before he could say anything she kissed him. OHMYGOD SHE WAS KISSING FRED. OHMYGOD. I couldn't handle watching so I started to stomp off towards the common room door. 

"Brinley! Brinley!" Fred yelled at me, but I kept walking. He caught up to me and stood in front of me so I couldn't walk. 

"Let me explain," he said as he pulled me into an empty classroom, locking the door. I just stared at him. I could feel the tears coming. I wondered if my eyes would change colors this time. 

He sighed, grabbed my hand, and said, "I'm sorry Brin, she just started talking to me and tried flirting with me, I tried to stand up for you, but she kept changing the subject, I really just wanted to punch her for saying that. She's rude and inconsiderate. Oh and I got your wand back for you." He said as he bpulled out my wand and handed it to me.

"Thanks," I said weakly taking it from him. "And I'm sorry you had to see me, like, that."

He smiled and laughed, "Well at least it was a good view." He winked at me, I just giggled. I felt a tear fall, I hadn't even realized I was crying. 

"Wait, Fred, can you tell me what color my eyes are?" I said worriedly.

He looked at them, then his eyes got wide, "woah, they're like green, white, pink, and purple. Why are your eyes like that?"

"I-I don't know, they were like that earlier when I was in my dormitory after Alissa called me a skank, but that time they were blue, purple, and white." I said. 

"Well, we will have to go see Dumbledore in a little bit then," he said to me.

"Why not now?" I asked.

"Because there is still somethings that we need to talk about, like why you were upset that Alissa kissed me?" he said cocking his eyebrow up. 

"Oh," I said quietly looking up at him.

"Now they are just purple," he said, " Sorry continue."

"Its fine, its just, uhmm, well," I stammered not knowing what to say, he looked at me with a look that said 'go on'.

"So basically, IlikeyouandIdidn'twanthertostealyouawayfromme." I spit out. 

"Sorry I didn't get that?" He said smirking. 

I sighed, closed my eyes and said, "I like you, and I didn't want her to steal you away from me, so basically I was jealous." 

I opened my eyes and looked at Fred, who was staring at me with wide eyes. "What?" I asked.

He started leaning in towards me, and I was more than okay with it, and the moment his lips met mine, I swear sparks flew. I couldn't help but kiss him back, I just couldn't. When we seperated, he smiled at me and I smiled back. 

"You have no idea how long I have wanted to do that," I could feel my cheeks getting red. I didn't know what to say, then he broke the short silence. 

"Bloody hell Brin, your eyes are pink now. We've gotta get you to Dumbledore!" He said concerned as he grabbed my hand and pulled me up. We had our fingers linked together as we walked to Dumbledore's office. 

A/N: Okay, well hey! This wasn't really my favorite chapter in the world, but I think it will work, oh and I changed the song and the picture on the last chapter, so if you wanna know what tessa looks like then check that out. But I ended here because I felt like the next part should be more its own part. The song is Better Than Revenge by Taylor Swift. So what do you think about this chapter?  Well I hope you like it, I liked writing it. Oh, and the next chapter will explain the eyes and stuff, just a heads up. Okay, I'm gunna go work on that now.
