Park Teddy penned lyrics and co-composed “Pride” with Ollipop and Hayley Aitken. Teddy was inspired to write the lyrics after having a conversation with the BLACKPINK members, where they shared the emotions they felt during the three years since their debut. The lyrics describe someone who is like at the end of a dark tunnel and Is lonely , The person wants to convey their feelings to someone as they feel insignificant and hopeless. As soon described in the MV that they soon find the light in themselves, So it's a message for the fans to Never give up and one day you'll create a miracle!

While It's Coney's debut comeback, She's really passionate and So bold while she sings Japanese, In fact It's great that she's Japanese!

Pride received 11 million view within 24 hours , It's one of the trending topics worldwide on Twitter included #Blackpink_Pride and #Pride_Day.
