She walked down the hall, two security guards holding her arms back. A muzzle and a scowl on her face.

People avoided eye contact with her, because if looks could kill: her glare would be the death of them all. Her eyes frantically looked around at her surroundings. She met a pair of eyes, they were a beautiful shade of brown and never left her dark shade of blue ones.

She tried to get a good look at them, thrashing around in the guards arms and screaming. She was thrown into a room, her feet scattering to stand herself up. She loses balance and falls over, a grunt escaping her chapped lips.

She banged against the door, soft whimpers leaving the back of her throat. She gave up after a while, slumping down to the floor. She closed her eyes for what seemed like seconds, but in reality she had fallen into a deep sleep.

Hours after she had fallen asleep, she woke up to a woman walking into her room. She growled and backed away from the person, high on alert.

The woman smiled innocently and stood before the frightened girl. "It's lunch time, we let everyone leave their room. You'll be on probation for a few days, so behave. Go on now."

Alex stood and walked out of the room, guards around her. They kept eyes on her, especially one pair of brown eyes. She sat down at a table, immediately greeted by a boy with green eyes. He smiled at her, slightly surprising her since she's never met someone so excited.

The two talked, the girl finding out his name was Gavin. He had been excited since he would be Alex's mentor who helps her out in the area. He was overall friendly, but deep down he had secrets he never wanted to share.
