Chapter 7: I GOT THE JOB!

Y/N's POV

It had been 5 hours, 3 of those were just me checking over and over and rewatching the edit. I just sat for a second. I couldn't believe this. I might be working for Click in a week.

My hand was shaking as I reached out and press send to Kath. I got an immediate response. She said she will review it and get back to me. I can't wait this long. This is going to kill me.

As I was waiting, I decided to have a chat with the most hilarious men on Earth. I made a group chat with Cray, Bazz and myself. I just said 'Hey boys. I hope I'm not bothering you but I'm bored and have no one to talk to except the most hilarious humans on Earth.' They both replied with thanks and said it's all good.

Cray's POV

Y/N TEXTED! She's so nice, funny, pretty, amazing..... wait what. I mean, nothing. She clearly likes Bazz and Lannan more than me so there's no point anyway. I don't understand why no girls like me....

Bazz's POV

Y/N texted Cray and I on a mini group chat with just the three of us. She's very nice and funny. I can tell Cray really likes her. Him and I used to be single buddies but since I got a girlfriend recently, he's been really sad about being single. I'm just bummed for him because I can tell she likes Lannan. Cray agrees with me which is sad because then he knows she's not interested. Poor Nathan.

Lannan's POV

Kath is the only one that knows I like Y/N. She always fills me in on news about her. I'm lucky to have friends like her. She's my only friend that's a girl, so I really need her at this time and she respects that. Kath just told me that Y/N had sent the footage through and she was going to review it with Grace and the rest of Click Management and I could come if I want. I thank her and said I would come. She said to be ready in 10.

I got changed and ready in 2 minutes eager to leave. Luckily Kath was already ready to leave so we went straight there. Grace asked "Why is Lannan here?" Kath saved me and just said "He's just a curious lil boy." I owe her more than one. We giggled because of what she said and we got down to business.

Kath opened her DM's with Y/N and selected the video. She then connected her phone to Grace's computer so we could all see it.

It took a while but after that, we decided she made it. Grace decided I could text her to say she did it. I wanted to jump up and down and scream and hug Grace and thank her but I didn't. I just sat there, containing all my emotions. I said "Ok, I'll do it now." I opened a new DM with Y/N and connected my phone like Kath did. I said 'Congratulations Y/N! You are officially an editor for Click and a member of Click Management.'

Y/N's POV

WHAT?! I just got a text from Lannan saying a got the job?! Why Lannan? Anyway, I can think of that later. I had to respond pronto. I said 'Thank you, thank you, a million times thank you!' Lannan replies with 'No problem. You did amazing with your edit of Kath's footage.' I felt my cheeks go red. 'Thanks Lannan. It means a lot.' I then said thank you again on the big group chat.

This is the best day ever!
