Another Dimension!

Chapter 6:Finding Myself

That day, I stayed up all night thinking and brainstorming about what I genuinely love to do. I concluded that I love fashion, science, and Kyushinkai, and that I must do something related to them. However, when it comes to fashion, I already finished its task.

The next day, while I was having breakfast with Perla, I asked her if she knows two clubs for me, one for sciences and one for Kyushinkai. Immediately, she said, "Yes, and they're next door!" I was very happy, hoping that this would work out, and I can go back home!

After breakfast, Perla went to her university, and I went to those clubs, registered, and paid $500, and I remained at my job! Every day, I went to those clubs and actually made a lot of friends there. I also had a squad: Stacey and Jack from the karate club, Elena and Parker from the science club, and Taline from the beauty contest, and of course Perla, whom I considered as my sister! I really loved this squad a lot!!

Four months passed, and I daily went to those clubs where I excelled at doing what I loved. In the last months, I was preparing for the competitions that I had in both clubs until finally it was time for the competitions.

In the science competition, we conducted many experiments and accomplished doing two before other teams, but we lost one to the other team. However, at the end, we won!

After a week, it was time for the karate competition. I fought a really strong girl, so I had to handle a lot of pain, but I was powerful too, and at the end of the fight, I executed a kick called "The finish kick," which gave me three points, and I actually won a medal!!

All my friends gathered around me and congratulated me! That night, Perla threw a party celebrating my victories in the contests with our squad. We danced, played together, and had so much fun! It was the best day ever!

When everyone left, Perla and I cleaned up the house and went to sleep. Perla told me that tomorrow would be the first day of summer vacation, so I got really excited!

As summer started, my friends and I remained together all the time. We biked together every evening, ate ice cream, played tennis, board games, video games, and we went daily to the pool where we swam together and ate lunch and dinner. Each week, we had a slumber party for girls in a house!

Also, Perla and I had our own plans. We went swimming, shopping, and to many places downtown daily!

Though this was the best summer ever, and now I feel that my self-confidence is at its peak, and I really love my friends and this place. It felt like home, but my desire to go home and see mom never left my mind.

On the bright side! Now I know who I am, I know that I love fashion, science, and Kyushinkai. I'm strong, love my friends, and my family!

Finally, the day came. I was sitting with my squad, and suddenly, after ten months, my phone's screen turned pink, and then the whole squad knew it was time for me to go! We all began to cry and hugged each other tightly! They gave me a bracelet and a necklace which were extraordinary. I could talk with them from the bracelet and see them too, and it would only work with me, and the necklace had our squad's photo!

After saying goodbye to everyone, I touched my phone's screen, and I really can't remember how, but I woke up in my room!
