Born 1991|| 14I dragged my feet across the hall. The sound of screams filled the halls. My eyes were open the widest they've ever been in my life. Blood was filling my nose in ginormous amounts. My legs ached, I was trying not to be caught. It was the blood night. I hated the blood night, I wasn't one who fit in during this time, because I never stood up for myself. I watched others kill each other, but I stayed silent. But today, wasn't the same.
There was so many. Bryson and Lola couldn't deal with all of them, so they sent me off. I roamed the halls, hoping I wouldn't see anyone. I heard footsteps behind me. I was holding a hammer. Bryson said I could borrow it, and to be careful with how I treated it. It was very powerful. I spun around when the footsteps became louder and faster. A female with brown dark hair was running full speed. My face twisted in horror and I spun and ran. The hammer was so heavy it dragged behind me as I ran, slowing me down a lot. The hammer broke parts of the floor and was throwing pieces around. One flew of the wall and hit me right in the face. I dropped the hammer and fell onto the floor. The tile floor caused my head to ricochet off of it. I groaned in pain. My nose was bleeding, and possibly broken. I held my nose and looked up. The girl was standing right over me. I screamed in both pain and terroir. She aimed her knife at my stomach. I rolled over but she plunged it into my side. I felt the knife digging around, causing my muscle fat to twist and turn with it, creating a hole the size of an orange. She pulled out and went to do it again but someone's fist connected with her face. The knife fell into me and I grabbed it. I turned over and it was Lola. She didn't have a knife, nor weapon, but her fists. She fought the female, and Lola was winning. The female aimed for Lola's shoulder which had her wound on it. As Lola flinched, the female took the opportunity to grab a smaller knife and aim for Lola's eye. Now Lola is experienced and dodged it, but got nicked in the eye a little, which would probably form a scar. The female aimed for Lola again, as Lola fell back against the wall. I threw the knife, but I'm so weak it barely got far. So I reached for the hammer and threw it at the female. It hit her right in the shoulder. Her skin started to fall apart and turn to dust. Her bones exposed and cracking. Her shoulder fell apart like you were unwrapping a foot roll up. Her arm remains fell onto the floor with a moist splat and clatter of bones. The females eye twitched. She dropped the other knife and aimed for the hammer. She picked it up and started walking towards me, still unable to move without pain. Lola grabbed the women's leg and pulled. The women onto the ground with a bang. Lola reached for the hammer but the female got on her fore stomach and swung at Lola.
She missed. And it hit the wall. Hard. This woman wasn't a human any more.
The roof started to rumble. The walls started to fall apart and crumple. Lola got up and threw the women against the wall. Lola's eyes were beat red and started to choke the women with all the force she had. The women gagged for air. Blood filled her eyes and she turned purple. She made an ungodly noise. The walls rumbled and suddenly there was a giant pillar that fell apart. Which caused the entire ceiling to fall. I looked up, and brick blocks started to fall closer. I reached over and started to try and crawl with my arms, causing my fingers to leave bloody trails the harder I tried, which ended up destroying the tips of my nails. Scratching the floor sounded like nails on a chalk board. But it got Lola's attention. She realized what happened and let go of the woman and dove for my hand. But it was not good enough, the brick blocks fell intop of my body. The force was so strong it hit me on the back, crushing my lungs and squashing my heart with my own organs, killing me on impact. The rest fell into my body and crushed my bones and limps, shattering them and tearing apart the skin. My head was forced to the floor as everything turned black. My skull and brain were crush with brick and splayed on the floor in a mass of brain matter and bone. My hand and arm were the only thing not in the way of the force. The brick clean cut my arm right off, causing Lola to be holding just my hand. Blood and flesh pooled from under the brick once the falling stopped. I was gone.

"So... we have to repair the book because I accidentally burnt it?"
"Yes that's correct" Bryson said. Lola, Bryson, and Isabelle were walking through the town. It was during the night, so no sun to be found.
"But the page was repaired... and nothing appeared on it?" Bryson shrugged.
"Who knows, maybe it will matter once we find all the pages."
"Well how many are there?"
"We'll figure that out won't we" Bryson adjusted Isabelle on his shoulders. Lola was looking around. She paused for a second to rub her neck before pointing.
"There, that's where we're going tonight." Isabelle looked towards where Lola pointed. It lead to an orphanage.
"It's pretty rare to go here, since most times it's just homes." Lola tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. Isabelle had seen that Lola and Bryson were leaving the base right as the sun was setting, and she wanted to come with.
"Okay then let's go." Lola and Bryson walked closer to the orphanage with Isabelle. Isabelle wondered.
"But even though we didn't get to read what was in the notebook, some cracks on my arm healed... where do you think more pages will be?" Bryson chuckled.
"You ask lots of questions don't you? Well we'll just need to be patient." Isabelle huffed and stuck her head on top of Bryson's head.

Lola and Bryson walked towards the orphanage. But they didn't go to the front. They walked beside until a certain window. Lola walked closer to the window and stuck her hand inside the window. No, the window was not open. She fazed through the window and unlocked it. She then pulled open the window. Isabelle watched Lola stuck her foot in and climbed into the window. Bryson then followed after, making sure to avoid hitting Isabelle's head. Inside was beds and beds of children resting. Isabelle looked around and noticed a child was holding something. Isabelle moved around on Brysons shoulders. He picked her up under her armpits and placed her down. He put a finger over his mouth to signal no talking. Isabelle did the action of zipping her mouth. She walked over the child's bed. She pulled herself onto the bed without causing an indent in the bed. She reached for a slip of paper under the child's arm. Before she grab it she heard a whimper. She looked over to Lola and saw her take this child's hand. Isabelle watched as Lola gripped her hand and pull. But when she pulled, the child's body stay the same, and instead, replaced it was a child with paler skin, white hair, but blues eyes. Lola has pulled the child's soul from her body. The child looked at Lola, and smiled. The child felt drawn to Lola. Lola smiled brightly at the child and picked her up. Bryson went over and did the same to another little boy. Isabelle quickly grabbed the paper. She ran behind Lola and Bryson as they hoped out the window and onto the soft fluffy snow. Isabelle's feet sank into the ground a little and she pouted. Lola and Bryson floated on the snow.
"Come" Lola said and started to walk away. Bryson shifted the boy onto his hip and picked up Isabelle to carrying her in the other. Bryson and Lola walked through town with the other children. They didn't seem to notice that they were dead.
-
Lola and Bryson once again, sent more kids to the far shore. Lola sat down on a lump of wood and pulled out a cigarette and lit it. Bryson watched the children walk towards the bridge. The bridge ended right near the sun, where the far shore was. Only people with pure body's and minds can go there. The others are lost for all eternity. At least, they were. Isabelle watched the other children walk away. She walked towards the barrier. Bryson didn't stop her. Isabelle walked across the barrier, but was still in snow. The snow faded into grass and a really pretty blue skys. But She couldn't walk forward, something kept her from doing that. She walked out.
"You can't go to the far shore unless your dead" Lola said.
"But aren't you dead?"
"We're a special kind of dead." Bryson snorted. Lola blew her smoke upwards.
"Oh yeah Isabelle"
"Yeah"
"What did you find while at the orphanage" Isabelle's face lit up as she remembered the note. She reached for it and pulled it out. It said:"Oh god why math" Lola moaned as she looked at the note. Bryson patted her head. He placed his hand on top of hers. Isabelle flipped over the note and it said on the back:

Isabelle flipped the page from back to front multiple times and exhaled loudly.
Dawn started to slowly peak over the bushes. Lola realized and removed her hand from underneath Bryson. She patted him on the back and put her cigarette out on the ground.
"Alright, we'll have time to figure it out, so let's go." Bryson took Isabelle's hand and picked her up and brought her inside, talking about the note. Lola followed behind until she felt the presence of another. She looked to her right and saw the two of them again.
"Mara, Charlie, you cant keep surprising me."
"Like we even surprised you in the place." Charlie smiled. She was very pretty. That's what a lot of people say when they first meet her.
"Lola, are you okay though?" Lola rubbed her neck and sighed.
"Who knows we'll see"
"Did you see anything." Lola didn't reply to Mara's never ending questions.
"Just remember, it's his fault."
"I know."
