A lot of time had passed since the 'incident'. But now... Shoya and Shoko were kind of...dating? It really is just up in the air at this point. His big extravagant plan had hit the fan when Yuzuru slipped up and then Shoko knew exactly what to expect.
Thinking of it now, Shoya couldn't imagine it like dating more than he used to. It's been two months and they kind of grew distant again. Shoko was always spaced out and just not there for most of the time. He always tried to be there for her but he found that school was just too much of a time consuming thing to do and try to date.
It was a chaste, but tender kiss. It didn't linger nor did it deepen or ...have any substantial meaning to it. It was just two people showing their affection for one another...
Trying to make sense of it all was a bother, and it distracted him from the main point...his heart was pounding in his ribcage and he became engulfed in a wave of serene happiness and it eased his heart.
It all seemed too good to be true. Was this really happening...?
Shoko seemed to be getting impatient and bored with the light peckings and such- so she took it upon herself to change things...
She leaned in, her chest rubbing marginally up against his.
When his eyes widened in shock, she forcefully pulled away and began yammering and squeezing his arms for forgiveness.
She frowned when he smiled, and he gifted her with sweet anticipation, something her little heart wasn't ready for at all. He gently takes her chin in his hand and she elevates her gaze to meet his deeply focused and perturbed scrutiny.
His hand sneaks up on her arm, fingers trembling on the surface...
"Let's just...try again...alright?"
Shoko nods vigorously, and he chuckles at her lost nerves.
"Okay," he smiles. "Ready?"
So, all of her life choices had led her up to this point. Finally, it was happening. Things like this happened all the time...but to each their own. Each person had their own special moments and experiences, but...
She was just glad to be doing this with someone that she truly cared about.
It was all fun and games until it finally happened again. Their lips touched, soft and slow. They would take this one step at a time for now...
The butterflies in her stomach were surely into acrobatics now! She squirmed under his gentle hold and her heart was thrilling away. She felt as if she'd given the clouds a high-five- ran around Mt. Fuji twice in 2 seconds flat; yet her heart slowed when she was pulled back to his fervent, soft lips.
It was weird getting the hang of it, but, slow and steady wins the race...now they had a durable sequence going, and it held up well.
No one could dare be captivated by Shoko, but...the way she tried to be so ardent and heavy about it. The way she cupped his face and how her cheeks began to tinge- how her skin tingles under her clothes.
She had a new desire about her...
Her arm eased up on the mattress when the kiss had suppressed and they both pulled away, anxiously looking up at each other. The silence lasted, and no one decided to break it- it was too perfect. Shoko's cheeks begin to color, and she buries her face in his chest.
He gently strokes her back and lets his face fall into her messy, lavender hair.
This wasn't supposed to happen.
He pulled back to sign to Shouko, "Do you think Yuzuru will mind?"
