Y/N's POV:

"Night Howler was spotted stopping thugs from robbing a store. Law forces are furious about the event, but there are mixed reactions from the public," the news lady said on the small TV on the kitchen counter.

"Can you believe that?" My mom asked. "Here's this citizen, trying to do the right thing, and he's getting criticized for it."

"You know what I can't believe? We don't have any sugar for my rice crispies," I said, taking another bite of my bland cereal.

"Really? Y/N, this is serious," she said, standing on the opposite side of the island from where I was sitting. "You're moving to Seoul tomorrow. Can't you show a little respect for the man trying to protect the city?"

"Mom-"

I was cut off by our home phone ringing loudly in the other room. "I'll get it."

She walked away and I continued eating my breakfast.

"Hey shorty," my brother said, walking into the room dribbling a basketball. "Are you ready to go to college with me? Moving from Daegu to Seoul is tough. They're so much more uptight than us."

"I'm not that short, and you're only like 5'8," I replied. "And can you stop bouncing that ball?"

"For your information, it's called dribbling"

"Well, I'm gonna dribble you in a minute."

He brought his fist back in a threatening way until our dog came in barking. "Holly, my boy! I know, I'm gonna miss you too. Yes, I am," he said in a baby tone while petting Holly.

"Yoongi, we're gonna be back for the holidays," I said, taking another bite of my cereal.

We heard knocking on the door so I got up to open it.

"Jaemin, hey," I said once I opened it.

"Hey, Y/N. I was wondering if you wanna do something tonight since you're leaving tomorrow," he said, giving me his beautiful smile that I've always adored.

"I would love-"

"For you to leave and never come back," Yoongi cut me off, standing in the doorway with me.

"No one asked for your opinion," I said, punching him aggressively. "Kids, am I right?"

"I'm two years older than you!"

"Nice to see that you're still alive Yoongi," Jaemin said, making Yoongi put his fist up as he did to me earlier.

"Okay okay. No need to punch my boyfriend. Why don't you crawl into your room until we leave for Seoul?" I asked Yoongi.

"Fine. But no stuff tonight. I'm warning you." Yoongi pointed at Jaemin before walking away.

"Sorry about him. You always know how over-protective he gets."

"Yeah, I do. What do you say? Come over at seven? I'll make popcorn and we can watch your favorite movies."

I smiled and nodded. "Sure."

"Okay. I'll see you then." He gave me a small kiss before walking back to his car in the driveway.

"Eomma, I'm going to Jaemin's house later!" I yelled to my mom, wherever she was. I sat back down and continued eating until her loud voice startled me.

"You better not let that boy touch you."

"Eomma! Nothing's gonna happen, but I'm an adult and I can choose if something happens or not."
